Couldn't agree more with your point about the design of the back. I've said since the day they released the teaser of the Manta that I think a lot of people would have preferred the A5X2 to have just been a bigger Nimad

One of the other reviewers of the A6X2 said that you need to press the pen into the screen really hard to get ink down. Is that resolved then? I def prefer a light writing touch, but like the idea of this tablet size.

You can adjust the touch / pressure in the setup for the note app.

@@Xingqiwu387 Good to know - thanks! Perhaps the other reviewer was unaware of that, also.

Does the input lag feel better than on the Boox Go 10.3?

Can Can you access google drive pdf, anotate them and have them sync back to google drive without creating a duplicate on the a5x2? do you know of an eink that can do this? all of my work is on the drive and would like to keep it there so i can transition between my tablet and computer. Thank you so much.

Maybe those pogo pins were to keep devices charged when on the shelf waiting to be bought??

I already have a Boox Note Air 3, would you say the Manta is a worthy upgrade?

Great review very informative. I‘d have a question not covered here: it appears to me that all current supernote devices allow full offline operation and offline backup to a usb stick or HD. Can you confirm? This would make the supernote the only allowable device to be used in big corporations with strict restrictions on device connectivity to the corporate network.

I agree with point on the screws. Just make them all with a collection of screws (even if they're not crystal).

I wonder how it behaves in terms of waking up from time to time, like a mobile phone. With the Go 10.3, you can adjust the time inactive after which it powers off. And before that, it goes to sleep so soon.

Is there somewhere I can go to ask a question of Kit?

I'm also wondering if I scan a PDF of a Japanese workbook and load it into the Manta, is the writing experience the same as writing directly into the super note native files or is their a difference in quality of writing experience.

Is there a difference in the writing experience on the Manta compared to the Nomad. If so which one is better?

That really poor responsiveness (on the A5X2 Manta) to "panning" along the artwork while wanting to draw in another section of the image is quite bothersome to me. Do you think this is something that can be fixed or improved in an update or is the issue due to something more around the hardware?

Hi do you think there will there be a clear version for the manta??

Thanks for sharing. I was worried I’d feel like I was missing out with the RPP. I wish I could have the feel write 2 and use my pens from the Nomad on the RPP. I can’t give up the screen real estate and I do use the color a lot in note taking. The browser extension, which I didn’t even know about till I got it, has been amazing also. If this Supernote came in RPP screen size and looked like my Nomad with a full folio I’d have been sorely tempted though😂

Interestingly, typing on the Nomad is a breeze with virtually zero lag. I tried typing via USB-C connection on the Boox GO 10.3 and the lag was horrible. Brandon Boswell typed on the Manta and the lag was unacceptable. He then switched over to the Nomad and the typing was very smooth and fast. I'm convinced it has something to do with the screen size itself. That said, though, IMHO, those who type should not even be looking at the screen! Just type away and correct any mistakes you make later in the editing phase. For best results, type completely in the dark and use your touch-typing skills! Lag? No big deal.

I wonder why the typing experience is so bad on the Manta? The internals are identical to the Nomad 🤔

You said the Supernote A5X2 is the best writing feel bare none. Are you saying the writing feel compared to other e-ink readers, Remarkable, Boox, etc., this one is the best?

Going off of everything said the video, buy a Supernote if you want the best writing experience. Buy anything else for everything else, except the Scribe. Ratta needs to seriously step up their game in software and features. Very lacking. Unfortunate!!
@kittencure10 сағат бұрын
Not lacking if you compare them to the Remarkable. They have repairable design, don’t require subscription and have a local wifi transfer.
