@Réka Olx I understand your point, however, I’m thankful that she won’t be hunted for her hands, feet, or for no reason at all. That she won’t starve, resources are plentiful. Thankful she was born in the US so she won’t be hunted to be someone’s object of personal exhibit. Thankful her mommy won’t be murdered in front of her. And I’m thankful that I can watch her grow!! Thankful that in time, she will become a mommy, a granny, and maybe even a great gram that will preserve their species for many generations!!!

@Thera... I agree. Look at the way Mama is looking over at the noise and the people... It's so noisy. I'm sure more so now then normally because of everyone wanting to see the baby. The way Mama is watching everyone, she's not happy it looks like. Like you said, let things calm down a bit from the excitement of all the staff at the zoo coming and looking, then let the people come in. I would give Mama "and Daddy" a fruit bowl or something like that to have while people are there to help keep them a little bit happy and content for a while...

So precious. Looks like mom has lots of milk to feed her baby. Wondering if the Gorilla is ok with all the noises after giving brith not long ago. Most animals get stressed when people are around and noisy when having new baby. 🦍🦍❤❤

I wish humans showed the same respect when going to view a new baby gorrilla as they do when going to meet a new baby in the hospital. Kept their voices to a low hush, etc. These poor creatures are trying to bond and spend some special time together, and all humans can do is shriek and shout at the tops of their voices. It's so rude! People need to keep their voices down! They need to put themselves in their spot. Would they like it if they had hordes of people walking by noisily talking or shrieking all day every day?

You, the zoo, I know you need money to stay open but this is terrible, subjecting mom and baby and the rest of the family to all this noise and gawking humans. Mom just gave birth. Show some respect and common decency.
