I thought it will be called The Last Cult or SM Season 2: The Static Channel, but Cracker Island its little bit boring title for an album. I'm so hyped for Steve Nicks and Bad Bunny collabs.

The record probably got pushed down to February due to the monumental amount of releases for the following months: Björk and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on September, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the 1975, Taylor Swift and Arctic Monkeys on October, etc. Gorillaz is still relevant but they wouldn't stand a chance against those coming albums in sales numbers.

Yeah, 6 months out is ridiculous...and it's weird that they are touring and THEN releasing an album... Isn't it usually the other way around?

What are your thoughts on the Blur rumours coming in 2024? (Supposedly in honour of 30th anniversary of “Parklife”). Really hope they release a new album and isn’t just a nostalgia trip…. On this topic really enjoying “Cracker Island” single and the title reminds me of “Plastic Beach”
