This album has been with me through SO MUCH. From my first real crush and innocent relationship, to death of the very person who introduced me to Gorillaz (a very very close person), to all of my travels, to the hardest of teenage years, as well as to the best of them, through intense isolation and ecstatic moments. I've listened to it so many times over my lifetime that I need to take very very long brakes from it, but I always come back. I love it eternally. And let me tell you, Don't get lost in heaven and Demon Days together with their awesome transition is like a dream for me. Have fallen asleep listening to that many a times. I wish you all good things during this new year.

i don't know if anyone else sees this, but to me this is like a concept album, describing the problems with modern society (pollution, the thoughtless consumption of "feel good" entertainment which is produced in mass quantities, alcohol, the taking advantage of "lesser" people, etc.), obviously exaggerated slightly, but not as much as you may think. certainly, the last three tracks seem to flow and share some aspects ("there was crack on the corner and someone dead, and fire coming out of a monkey's head" in don't get lost in heaven), and to me all the tracks create a multi-faceted world of ruin and corruption, into which we may all fall very soon. this album is as old as i am, and yet i still love it. if anything, i'm connected to it a little more because of this. thank you for listening to my ted talk.

Arguably the best album I've ever heard, honestly. I remember putting it in when I bought it, my dad talking crap about their last album being recycled garbage that hadn't worked before. 2 tracks in and he looked like a cave man discovering fire. When we finished it he looked at me and was like 'this was an amazing work of art, thank you' then we listened to it nonstop for months. I've probably spent a considerable portion of my 30 years on this planet with this on repeat. If you're late to the party, welcome. DARE is an absolute BOP November has come is probably one of my personal favorite songs to be recorded ever

I can't believe I've waited until now to experience for the first time this masterpiece. For years I've listened only the most popular ones like "Kids With Guns", "Feel Good Inc." and "DARE". The album as a whole is just amazing, the songs are so different from each other, but they work so well together. They also share most of the textures, and bring the album a likeable "colour palette" that has bluish greens and dry oranges.

I forgot about how beautiful this album is. I haven’t listened to it in it’s entirety in a while but hearing it again after not listening to it felt like a refresher. I used to not like this album compared to their others but since Cracker Island released, I decided to listen to some of their songs that I wasn’t as fond of, mainly November Has Come, and I realized that it’s composed very well and I didn’t take the time to appreciate its existence on this album. At first I wondered why this album was regarded as one of the best albums of all time but with current events and just listening to it again made me realize why it’s so highly regarded, and I completely agree. It’s a journey listening to this. The flow of the songs, especially Dirty Harry/Feel Good Inc and DGLIH/Demon Days is phenomenal and with this relisten I felt this feeling of emptiness, loneliness but also hope. It’s crazy what music can do to you

@@fatheroftwo852 Hey! Yes I am, thank you so much for checking. That was nice of you. I am actually an alcoholic/drug addict in recovery and I am sober and doing great! To think that a complete stranger would hope that I am well is fucking cool. Thank you! Have a great weekend, and stay safe, cheers from Kansas!

@@TheUpGrayed Aye you're welcome, good on ya for getting off the grog and whatnot. Very happy to hear you're recovering and sober! Much appreciation and early Christmas cheer from South Australia :D
