Well, Murdoc, 2-D and all of them were out in the middle of the sea on Plastic beach so they needed Damon to perform for them I suppose, though Damon did kind of push them out of the scene; if you watch the videos Gorillaz priority walk and Murdoc's dressing room 1 2 and 3 you'll see what I mean ;)

Arkadiusz Sawa Nope, but most of the "Gorillaz Returning" stories are bulshit. Ive seen some old ones that say "New Gorillaz Album 2014", "New Gorillaz Album 2015" etc. All of them were bullshit. Where did you hear that they were making a new album in 2016 besides Damon mentioning something a a festival.

Hunter Burkes Jamie Hewlett confirmed they were coming back on Instagram a few weeks ago when he posted a new Gorillaz drawing. Damon's also confirmed it via a Mexican interview a few days ago saying he's going to start recording a new Gorillaz LP in the fall.

There are some bands that are good live, but suck in studio. Then there are the bands that suck live, but are amazing in studio. Then there are those who are just great at both. Gorillaz aren't the greatest live, but are amazing in studio.. still a great band.

I think it sounds better because it's real and live. The biggest problem with modern music is it's 10% skill and 90% computers, when I say modern music I mean the new stuff that thrown in your face like Ariana grande and Justin Bieber niki manaj and other people like that who would completely suck playing live with no voice modification
