That's official Gorillaz artwork, from their first book, an "autobiography" called Rise of the Ogre (actual copies of the book are SUPER expensive now) that gives the full backstories of all the members (Murdoc's is super depressing, the guy has TRAUMA), this is from 2D's, that's him out in front, at about 10 years old (yes, he's been smoking since grade school).
