Honestly, I know Scorpion was the main star of this movie, but I felt disappointed that Liu Kang didn't defeat Goro. It was kinda the start of his legendary status in the OG version.

Liu Kang can summon fireballs use bicycle kick and turn into a dam dragon but thought to himself “lemme get em with this curtain”whahagahwhahwhaaa😂😂😂

I like how they made Goro to be the greatest challenge of the tournament. In other versions is Shang Tsung.

Well, he is the reigning champion in the original MK. Shang Tsung just happens to be the final challenge (for some weird reason).

@@justwannabehappy6735 because Shang Tsung is objectively stronger than Goro (not physically ofc) with all his magic powers and mimicking of other characters. He's just not a fighter in the tournament. It's like if Dana White had superpowers, John Jones would still be the strongest fighter in the UFC but Dana would be stronger than him as a character in this universe.

I don't think that Goro ever stood a chance against Liu Kang except in this version. But Scorpion performed a fatality on Goro and rescued Liu Kang! That's so cool!🎃💀🎃💀🎃💀

@@ripmax333 yes. Jax only started losing his arms in the second timeline of MK9 (Ermac). Then Goro (this movie) and Sub-Zero (the live adaptation film of 2021). In the original timeline, it was never specified if he had his arms removed or he simply had cybernetic prostheses on them. In MK: Annihilation, they are just cybernetic prostheses. He still has his arms. I don't know if he ever appeared on MK Conquests (never saw this tv series). There is yet no mention of Jaxx in the third timeline, as far as I know.

Scorpion interfering and killing Goro ruined the original Liu Kang storyline. Watching Liu Kang struggle against Goro only to be rescued by Scorpion threw the entire franchise arc off.

Pretty much. Wouldn't this be a disqualification? Earth Realm loses in the finals? This movie scratches the itch for violence, but the story kind of bombs all for the sake of making Scorpion look cool.

🤦🏻‍♂️ Если бы это была бы версия Скорпиона из фильма - он бы смог убить Горо вот так. Но вот этим дерьмом на цепочке он бы даже ему череп не пробил, не говоря уж о том, чтобы вытащить его и оторвать голову - после того, как на эту голову упала скала. Сценаристы уже в край отупели такое дерьмо снимать.
