Nice. Try Chuyentactical and Nitecore as alternative.

Great review! GORUCK bags are expensive, but they're my favorite. All of mine, except the Rucker, were bought on sale or 2nd hand. I bought my wife the 18L DC Bullet, she loves it for work and travel.

not cheap but for many people its very worth it

I once suggested getting a container and small styrofoam peanuts to verify pack capacity to another reviewer on this site and he has since received very positive feedback from many viewers. It's pretty straightforward - and I am sure many of us here will find it helpful when reviewers verify both actual pack weights and volumes.

That's what the One Bag Travel channel does.

I very much appreciate you including the dimensions. But why didn’t you pack it out with a 45 lb iron plate?

I'd love to be able to carry a 16L as my EDC, cause I don't generally carry too much stuff, but I need to have my 17" laptop... and there's nothing under 20L that fits a 17" and even at 20L it's rare. That front slash pocket is notorious on all Gorucks for becoming unusable as soon as you fill the main compartment. And the flap on the main zipper is more of a nuisance than a benefit. On the other hand, I find the GR1 and GR2 the most comfortable bags to carry heavy loads in. PS: I'm so pissed I missed the Bullet in that tidal blue colour 😔

thanks for sharing! And yea, 17" laptops won't really fit in 20 liter bags, they usually aren't tall enough

Overpriced compared to Ctactical
@Nomads.NationКүн бұрын
for sure! but also there is an argument to be made that CT blatantly ripped off GORUCK

is this a new release? i thought gr0 was replaced by gr1 😮
@hikingmando2 күн бұрын
The current GR0 is a renamed Echo. The orignial GR0 was what is now the 21L GR1. Great bags all around, but GORUCK likes to get stupid with using the same name on different bags.
@Nomads.NationКүн бұрын
I think it's the GR0 - on their site they said it was "previously called the Echo" - www.goruck.com/collections/gr0?srsltid=AfmBOorbUbXYT059IQ3UKK7ZNWt1BWh_AR0e-D4LKzlM498U-mMsVJeQ
