It's a great pack but it's so true. If that's something that bothers you then I doubt you'll ever get over it if you buy the pack. I'll have the pack on the floor of the car and my wife will look down, notice it right away, and always make a comment. It doesn't hamper my enjoyment of the bag but that also doesn't excuse that it happened and got through QC.
