Thanks for a very informative vid. I have two GoRucks and have read about military’s necessity for a shoulder-centric ruck. I do agree that a kitted-out GR2 can strain the shoulders. Although when I bought the hip belt, that was an absolute conversion. You have the best of both worlds, thick and wide shoulder straps and load bearing directed at the large lower hip muscles.

I can't understand people who complain about the lack of bottle compartments in a backpack. Currently there is an innovation available - which is actually not very sophisticated - called the memo-bottle. It is slim so it is easy to tuck anywhere (especially for the GR2 which has lots of compartments). Available in various sizes, colors, materials, brands and prices. If you can afford Goruck, memo-bottles shouldn't be a problem.

Once again great review . Actually your reviews deserve millions of likes as compared to those overrated and lengthy reviews . Do you felt necessity of load lifter straps ? I wrote an email to goruck about exactly what you described . Water bottle pocket , easy access pocket , moly webbing little bit on higher side as any moly pack you attach can rest on ground and last but not the least load lifters . Also thr front tilted pocket needs to be elastic of not bulgy ( like evergoods packs ) they are like for no use , shear waste of space and pocket . Added all these would make this pack unbeatable .
