Gosalyn is a very 'Spirited' kid which often gets her into trouble. Good thing her dad's a hero so he can save her. Thanks to him, she plans to follow in his footsteps and become a hero herself.
This is about her 'Breaking away' from her past and embracing her future with her family and friends.

@Estrellita1996ful I totally agree with you there. I think Even Tad Stones the creator said that the show was a success because of Gosalyn. I don't think Darkwing would have survived (in his world and in real life without her)
