It's so hard to be believe she's already 83-years-young. My favorite song by Zella Jackson will always be _"I'm His Child."_

Why does her singing resemble the late great Ms. Aretha Franklin. Wow!! She sounds great! Thank you, Mr. Eric Clark for bringing this young lady to our attention. Before now, I had not heard of her or Mrs. Willie Mae Ford Smith. I was vaguely familiar with Mr. Thomas Dorsey, but i had never seen any video footage of him. These videos are a treasure. Many thanks, Mr. Clark.

Thank you for this. I remember watching Say Amen Somebody on Sunday afternoons after family dinner. I would sing along with her. "I may not be the best at anything." What a jewel!

Bette Ransom Nelson also recorded the song, "I'm His Child." It's one of those great gems of gospel music. And I remember this lady from the documentary Say Amen, Somebody.

Mrs. Price also has a fasinating personal story about her twins. She was told only one survived at birth, but she later discovered the other child was alive, well and at the time - an adult.
