What songs would you like to see on here? & Who would you like to see on here as well?
@xRamZx6 ай бұрын
Rage Against The Machine - Bulls On Parade. The song sounds simple but the drums are doing some really fun things that will catch someone off guard when they hear it vs what they played. (also, Drumeo did this song but i feel the drummer was lying about not hearing it prior)

So you're telling me now we all need to hire gospel drummers for our punk bands? Dude that was so sick
@TheHonest12346 ай бұрын
Gospel guys have the capability to play with the power a punk/rock drummer is required to play but they have an advantage of having more vocabulary in the types of grooves/fills they can do. A lot of punk guys just play to their tendencies and can’t really go beyond just playing with power and speed. That’s why the best drummers now Matt Gartska, Luke Holland, and ii learned some gospel chops and took inspiration from that style of playing to make their grooves sound livelier than a typical band in their genre.

So growing up listening to this music specifically this band. I have to say this was absolutely gold. Watching the emotion come out just listening to the track without the drums to you playing the drum track completely wrong but also making it sound like a totally different jam….. that shocked me. It was great! Then when you asked to play the song for fun…. It made me smile so much. You did an outstanding job. The pet that really showed how good of a drummer you are is was when you would find out self slightly out of pocket or even thinking out loud with your sticks as you played…….. I could tell you were like hmmmm the figure it out mid jam and being back in was pretty phenomenal with that being the first time you heard the track. KUDOS!!! A song I’d like to hear played on this channel would be “JUST A GIRL” by No Doubt. It’s a sweet mix of Punk Reggae Ska and many drummers have an issue finding that sweet pocket with reggae and ska. It would be fun to watch. GREAT EPISODE YALL!
