Thomas Pridgen was an insane drummer. The album when Flea and John Frusciante recorded some songs with Omar - the talent in the early 2000s Mars Volta

@@baconoftheark Yeah, Pridgen was my favorite drummer for them by far. Jon Theodore was on more iconic albums and Deantoni Parks is possibly the most technical, but Pridgen's raw shredding was just perfect for that band.

Absolutely agree. The channels have somewhat different target audiences so the open relationship is probably a benefit for both. Some day, I think a team-up with Pianote to basically rerecord a song from these individual parts would be fun.

to be fair earlier Paramore had some 3/4s and 6/8s too. I’d say “that’s what you get” would be a challenge since every part except the drum is in 3/4, while the drums are in 4/4.
