You need to tab out some drive patterns for beginners. Not everybody tunes to standard tuning so it helps to know the notes to adjust.

Just found your channel and subscribed. Not enough soulful guitar on youtube. NGL, however, this one in particular was frustrating. Lack of tab is no problem, but you never really taught the riff. You said at one point you'd slow it down but never did. I slowed down the video until you sounded like you were on quaaludes and kind of got it. Anyway, please take the foregoing as constructive criticism!

You didn’t TEACH anything. This was yet another demo or exhibit. There was no theory or frets used or any chords… just the key… this was excellent for Someone who ALREADY know how to play it… maybe you should have put up the tab. This is yet another DEMONSTRATION showing that you know how to do it and the lecture about not over playing is not a lesson… smh. Sounded good. But I didn’t Learn anything. A demonstration is not a lesson.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I try to make my videos inspiring, but I'll keep working on how to incorporate more learning components. Why don't you tab the pattern out like you did on another lesson you did. As for as training the ear, that should come later when they decide to play it in another key. Also, there may be some who don't use standard tuning. The notes need to be learned as to what you are doing, please.
