Found this so helpful. Especially the connection between setting boundaries & shame, for women specifically. Helps to remember that God set life-giving boundaries, and so can we. 🙏🤍 Thank you ladies.

Who can imagine that the Jackie who is sitting here and curiously watching Jas & Mel is the stage-bold Jackie? Just been here waiting for her to dissect scripture and preach😄

I was divorced in 2015, my ex mother in law was very upset. She misses me much. I still feel about uneasy that I didn't tell her that her son was denied me of fertility and made our married home into a cannabis factory. I had forgiven my ex husband all ready. I feel uncompassionate that I couldn't tell her the truth as she was very protective of her son. I pray her and her son to come to know the biblical truth, repent and be renewed in Christ. In Jesus name.amen.🙏✝️

This conversation is right on time for me! This is my word, along with balance, for the year as I'm learning to be more intentional about setting boundaries and maintaining them for myself and others.

Hi I'm curious and this is not to offend you ladies. I have a question about why you would need a therapist if you have the word of God and sisters in the Lord like pastors wives that you can confide in?

Sometimes the people that you are in close relation with can be bias. Therefore, it is good to sometimes have a third opinion that it’s outside of your relationships and or friendships to help you dissect your situation or your mental/emotional state. Even dissect past trauma.
