I am 83 and a former Baptist minister, I at one point became perplexed that God had left us with so many unanswered questions and interpretation of the Holy Bible. I had witnessed the restoration of the nation of Israel on my shortwave radio when I was 9 years of age in 1948. That was a miracle, but where was the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ. Why so many demonizations? Is this Gods way, I don't think so! Christ said a house cannot stand if it is divided against itself, and Christendom is certainly divided and ignorant. I am a Christian and I love Jesus Christ, but why all this confusion and contention as to doctrine? There has to be more. As I was preaching a sermon at 32, I said there is no other scripture than the Holy Bible (which is what I had been taught), such as the Book of Mormon. When I said that the Holy Spirit shoved in my mind "How Do You Know That Is True!", I didn't, I thought, it was only what I had been taught. So I sought a Book Of Mormon and setup appointments to find out what Mormons believed. I sat with the missionaries and told the two young sister missionaries, "I am not here to convert you or you to convert me, I only want to know what Mormons believe: they said ok, we have 7 discussions, I said fine I'll take them. they told me who I am, a son of God and lived with Him before coming into mortality. They told me of the fall of lucifer and Heavenly Father's plan of Mercy that had been prepared to redeem His children from the fall. The purpose for this short life in mortality and reward for the faithful in Heavenly Father's Kingdom. The truth about the Trinity, that the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are 3 separate personages. All they taught me I knew to be True. My wife opposed me even talking to Mormons, she said you are a new Baptist minister, why are you talking to Mormons? Why is it I pray and get a different answer? I said I study, ponder and ask God if it is true, you do not and only ask God to tell me I'm wrong. Later, I was going to the last discussion and she ran out of the bedroom all excited, she said Ronnie I was in the bedroom praying and a light appeared in the room and a voice, as if it was right there in the room with me, "Your Husband Is Seeking To Serve God, Follow Him". She was immediately converted and wanted to be Baptized into the Mormon Church. She and our 3 children took the discussions in one week and I Baptized them the next Saturday. My father (also a Baptist minister), mother, grandmother and my mother's sister and family all joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints the 1st year. Many more have joined since, that was 51 years ago. My sweet wife and I are married 64 years and were Sealed by the Power of the Priesthood in the Restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1972 in the Salt Lake Temple (we drove from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to attend the Temple). How wonderful is to have this great knowledge of the Fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I died once and know that I am a spirit being, I was sent back as my mission on Earth was not complete. These things are True, I know it and cannot deny it, as Joseph Smith, Jr. once said. Seek and You shall find is a Truth. I will die soon with Joy that I know my Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father with the promise that my Sweet Wife and I will be together forever. God bless you all, Amen

It warms my heart to read your testimony. I was a missionary serving in the Kentucky Louisville mission in the early 80’s. We were doing our laundry and while waiting, a Baptist minister approached me & asked me a few questions of which I don’t recall, but may be written in my journal. I answered his questions as best as I knew and by the Spirit of the Lord. I then asked him a question: “Why is the Baptist church named after John the Baptist and not after Jesus Christ?” I don’t recall his exact answer. In reply to his answer I invited him to meet with us, which he agreed to do so, the following evening at the laundromat. Unfortunately, he never showed. It thrills me to read that even though you, a former minister, was not willing to let the full truth pass you by. Both you & your wife were open to the truth and recognized the voice of the Spirit. What an amazing story!

@@TheyWereInOne The Fort Lauderdale Florida Ward was praying for an organist. I was baptized Saturday and Sunday I was sustained as the organist. 51 years later, I am still the ward organist. I am now 83 and I have medical problems but God blesses me to still be able to pray for the ward and stake in Seminole, Florida. I love the Lord more every day. How wonderful is our Savior and Redeemer. I died once and left my body, I could see my body but I was no longer connected to it. It was wonderful and I was still me only gravity had no effect and I could move through the air at will (no wings) before I entered the light, I looked back as my sweet wife needed me and I was sent back with a thud (like being sucked into a vacuum), I was tingling all over from lack of oxygen and I could not move or breathe. I tried several times to breathe and suddenly it turned on and I took a deep breath, slowly the tingling left my body. What a wonderful experience to know what a wonderful experience awaits me to again end this probation intoo a wonderful place where I will reunite with my loved ones. Leaving the body is easy and wonderful if you Love one another and have faith in Jesus Christ. Amen

@@ronpalmer2u Thank you for sharing your experience of the after life. My grandmother had a heart attack when she was in her mid-50s, and my grandfather found her dead on the floor. He placed his hands on her head and gave her a Priesthood blessing and she came back to life, and lived into her 90s. I'll be 65 next month, so I'm still just a "kid." It sounds like you've had an incredible life and a strong testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to share with you Ron that lately I've been fasting and praying to know know more about the process of becoming spiritually born again. It's something that we, in the Church, don't talk much about, but it is required for us to "enter into the kingdom of God." (John 3:5) The BoM has numerous experiences of individuals who experienced the second birth with fire and the Holy Ghost. It's something I "accidently" experienced about 40 years ago when I went through an intense trial in my life that humbled me to the core. I had a "mighty change of heart," and it stayed with me for several years until life circumstances wore me down. I'm sure there are many in the Church who have received the visitation of the first Comforter, but who keep silent about it. I believe that there must be a Zion people prepared before the Lord returns again, and that many will be prompted by the Spirit to prepare themselves, while others will have to go through an intense trial - like I did years ago - to become humble enough to "give away all [their] sins to know" Jesus Christ (Alma 22:15-18). I have tried to recall the steps I went through and in essence, it comes from living and obeying the gospel and pure doctrine of Christ as found in 2 Ne. 31:2-21; 3 Ne. 11:30-41; My brother-in-law and I have spent a lot of time working on this and are taking what we have learned and writing it down so we can later share it with our families. If you have any insights about the process, we'd appreciate you sharing it with us. My email is rikvillegas@gmail.com if you feel right about discussing this more.

Thank you for this video! 😊👍 When you brought up the quote of Elder Bednar, I couldn't help but think of this analogy for me as far as my own understanding of what Elder Bednar was saying when he started talking about having Faith: I can have confidence that God will direct me to whomever I need to have as my Eternal Companion. Part of my confidence in pursuing this, is knowing that As I Date those who also have these same desires and goals, God will direct me to my future companion and together, my companion and I can mutually choose to be together through the Ordinances of God's Holy Temple. I loved when you laid out the actions of faith, such as praying, studying the Gospel of Jesus Christ though God's Scriptures and His Chosen Prophet and Apostles, Repentance, worthily partaking of the Sacrament, and many other things that helps us become more like our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our family is going to (seriously) work on our confidence, we were a little shaken when our Bishop recently taught our Gospel Doctrine class and he reminded us of the fact that President Nelson has encouraged all members to have three months worth of food, 2 weeks worth of water, and enough money put aside to pay all of the bills for at least three months. The Prophet wants these things accomplished by August of 2022. I think that what alarmed us was that he was so specific with his time frame and that August of 2022 is less than a year out.... Strange times!

Good lesson. It does leave me with one question though. Have you been born again? I grew up in the church. My personal relationship with Jesus began when I was 12, when he called me to pray and I started praying on my own The Lord took me under his wing and he taught me how to pray and what to pray for and how to receive personal revelation through prayer and meditation. By the time I went on my mission, I was having regular conversations with God. On my mission I had many very spiritual experiences. After my mission, I saw sitting on the sofa wondering what I should do with the rest of my life and the Lord told me, "Marriage." So I started looking to get married. Because of the draft, I decided to join the Navy instead of being drafted. I led to my wife by divine guidance and we were married in 1973. After a year of marriage, the ship I was on, was scheduled for a Westpac cruise. I did not want to go because of my family. My wife and I prayed fervently that he would do something so I would not have to go. I had every expectation that he would do something because he had already answered my prayer in so many miraculous ways in the past. He did nothing. I found myself on board ship steaming for the Philippines and I was heartbroken. I started praying as I was crying, "Lord, why are you doing this to me? Why didn't you answer our prayers?" After a time of praying in this manner, the Lord spoke to me and said, "If you want me to answer, you will have to listen. I calmed down, cleared my mind of all other thoughts and listened. The Lord said, "You need to repent." Then he reminded me of all my sins that I had been too embarrassed to admit, as if one can hide his sins from God, and my sorrow changed from being sorry for the situation I was in to be truly sorry for my sins, In that moment, I decided to commit to not sin and do everything necessary to avoid the situations that had caused me to sin, I told the Lord, "You know my sins and I am very sorry, Please forgive me." As soon as I asked, suddenly the burden of guilt for those sins was suddenly lifted and for the first time in a long time I felt free. I feel happy, happier than I had ever felt before. And then there was the Love. I knew about the love of God but I did not really know what it was until the Lord forgave and the love was indescribable. Suddenly, knowing what the love of God was and knowing that I did not have much of it, I wanted more, and I began to pray that I would have more of the love of God in my heart. after repenting of my sins, I suddenly felt a hunger for the more of the word of God. I told the Lord I wanted to learn and asked him what to study first. He told me to study faith. I thought I know faith, but I said OK. Then applying all the principle he had taught me for obtaining revelation, I started to study on the principle of faith in my mind and He taught me. It is so simple. Faith is the process by which we set and reach goals. There are three elements of faith, the thinking part, the feeling part and the action part. The thinking part of faith is setting a goal, then either formulation a plan or looking for a plan that can be used to reach the goal and then believing in the goal and the plan to receive. It is like the father who has a goal of a harvest. there is a plan he has to follow to reach his goal and he has to believe that his seed will grow and the God will send rain to water the crops. Then there is the emotion. To put a plan into action, you need energy. Faith energy is hope plus a little more to put the plan into action. with the goal in mind and faith energy, you go to work. Now, there are four kinds of faith. There is everyday faith which we use for everyday needs. You get up and to go to work in faith so you will have money to provide for the family. The farmer plants his fields in faith. You get hungry and set a goal for food and in faith you get the food you want to eat. We use faith everyday, all the time. The second kind of faith is negative faith. This is where you set negative goals like robbing a bank. You add greed to your goal and instead of something good, you do something evil. You are offended by someone and you get angry and you decide to get even. you formulate a plan for hurt the other person and then you do. Negative faith, bed news. The there is anti faith. Faith is obtain things you want. Anti faith is obtaining the things you do not want. The brain does not distinguish between want and not wan when making goals. It just supplies the energy. A good example is the woman who does not want to be raped. She is afraid and instead of doing things to keep from being raped, she does thing to get raped. Negative energy attracts negative energy and there are men who are looking for women who are afraid. How many time did Jesus tell his disciple to not be afraid and to not worry? Faith and fear are opposites, Where there is faith, there is no fear. Where there is fear, there is no faith. Then there is divine faith. This is the faith by which we obtain heavenly goals. One of the first goals is forgiveness of sin. the plan is repentance and asking forgiveness, believing that it will work. It worked for me. The next goal of every born again Christian should be sanctification. The plan for obtaining sanctification was revealed to Joseph Smith and then revealed to us in the endowment. It is by the fulfilling of the covenants of the endowment by which God cleanses us, purifies us and sanctifies us and makes our calling and election sure. I took the Lord ten years for him to cleanse me, purify me and sanctify me and to ring me into his presence. And it was by faith that he did it. Speaking of the covenants of the endowment, the first covenant is to keep the law of God and contained in the old and new testament. One of those laws is, You shall not make unto your self graven images of anything in heaven, on the earth or in the waters or under the earth. I wanted to draw you attention to the graven image, supposedly of Jesus, that is set up in the Visitor's center. You have a picture of it in this video. That image is breaking the commandment. Te face on the image is the face of Lucifer. My advise to you is that if you want to be born again that you repent of your idolatry and put your faith in Jesus to forsake your sins with full purpose of heart. God bless you to do the right thing.

Hebrews 11:1 Now Faith is the substance (assurance) of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I have always looked at this scripture a bit differently, especially for the ‘evidence’ part. Now, Faith is the substance, of things Hoped for... I Hope that That God, Jesus, the Resurrection, & Eternity is REAL & I will strive to live my life in a FAITHFUL way that shows MY HOPE. Action, yes, is a part of it... But, molecules have action. So, what does that mean? Do I take ACTION in striving to PLEASE GOD, my Holy Father in Heaven? Do I strive to: Keep the Commandments? Do I strive toward the Divine Nature: as in 2 Peter, Ch 1: Faith, knowledge, temperance, Patience, brotherly kindness, Charity, Godliness. Am I also: Diligent, humble, as in D& C, adds? Do I forgive easily, & am I striving to be steadfast? Do I Pray for myself & the WORLD? Do I have a constant prayer within my heart? Do I repent Daily? Do I LOVE ALL, Will I help a stranger in need? Am I Honest, True, Chaste, Benevolent, Virtuous, & Do I Do Good to All Men. Do I follow the Admonition of Paul, to Believe all things, to Hope all things, will I strive to Endure many things, & always Hope to be able to endure all things. Do I strive to seek after Virtue , Loveliness or, Praiseworthy Deeds? Am I striving to: PRAY Daily, Worship Daily, Study the Scriptures Daily, attend The Temple, pay Tithing, Fulfill my Calling, Minister, & Follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Am I Clean & Pure with my person, mind, home, & heart? Do I think about & give to the poor? Do I bless my Family. Do I strive to be prepared Spiritually, & Temporally: For the Latter- Do I strive to be prepared for Disaster? Do I keep my spending in check, having a mind & effort to Save funds for a rainy day. Do I strive to Follow the Prophet: Do I have a garden? Do I work on Genealogy? Am I striving to PO my HOME (Benson), & “Let God Prevail?” (Nelson). Do I STAY out of Debt? Temple Work? Am I helping to teach the Gospel, & Gather Israel? To me, the “EVIDENCE of THINGS NOT SEEN,” are the Companionship of the Holy Spirit, Revelation, Tender Mercies, & Miracles Visions, Healings that Result from being Faithful. Another Words: When I have Faith that GOD, my Holy Father is REAL, & strive to work toward that REALITY, I AM BLESSED BY MY HOLY FATHER with “HIS EVIDENCES.” With many Proofs, Miracles through the Years. Thus, these Evidences if God’s Blessings in my Life, enforce my Faith, to where I now have KNOWLEDGE, that strengthens my FAITH to be more SOLID, & steadfast... “Miracles, are my most Solid Evidences of Things Not Seen.”🙏🏻

A comment I made earlier elsewhere: Hebrews 11: 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. ⚠️ Broken down into order of events based on Noah's faith and God's Consequences for Noah's actions; 7 (being warned of God of things not seen as yet) By faith Noah,.., moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. It was God who told Noah what to do. Noah, not having proof, acted in faith of what was said to come. Because of his actions in his faith in God, he was blessed. In this case; God gave instructions. Noah believed. Noah Acted. Was Blessed. In that order. 🔖 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Enoch had faith in God as a testimony, a witness of God. Because of this faith/testimony in God; God blessed Enoch. God worked Enoch to be translated to not see death. Enoch's Faith in God as a desire to Know God, Enoch has and bares a witness, a testimony of this gained experience in Knowledge of God. God is pleased with Enoch for doing that. Blessings follow. 🔅 By just two important examples, we can see how people in the Bible had faith, acted upon that faith, and became blessed by God for thier agency, their willingness to not only Hope in God's Words, but act in them also. ➡️➡️So we can see, faith is a mixture of hope and action.⬅️⬅️ Look at Abraham, in his old age after 👉decades of praying for a child👈, he had a son. It was a big deal too. For he not being able to speak for consequence of his lack of faith. Later on, he was asked to sacrifice his son Issac. In faith and action he was blessed by God. He knew God. He was already past the point of hoping in God. Because God had already established experience of faith in Abraham. He then acts by faith, and in so doing, God blessed him. Skipping down to 30 to save time.. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. They did as they were instructed, with action in faith, they were blessed. First we get instructed, then we gain hope in those instructions, then we believe those instructions being from God must be Good because no good tree can bare evil fruit. By acting upon the instructions we now have faith, because we have works with beliefs/hopes. Faith is work and hope/belief mixed together by the choice of the followers. You can't have faith without works. You can't have faith without belief/hope. They must be together, in a willingness of the individual or group who are instructed by those who teach. (GOD and His servants.) Hebrews 11 shows example after example of this same thing, over and over again. And yet, people keep saying you do works after faith. Break down the verses to see for yourself. I can tell you how to flip a light switch, that it has a power source, and a reward for doing the action. But, if you never do the action for yourself, when you become independent; You will be forever in the darkness, when no one is left to do it for you. So, by hope and belief, take action. Flip the light switch. And the power of God will Light up the room. And a 🕯 candle on a candlestick will light up the room. But, first thing, you must choose to light it, second thing, you must actually do it. When you do, God will work Wonders for you. I promise you this is how God has always done it. And always will.

I believe that we are following the exact protocol, only my focus on the “EVIDENCES of things not SEEN,” to me, means “RESULTS, of my Faith”... Instead of: Evidences, being the Inspiration, and/or, Motivation of my Actions. The Footnote for Hebrews 11:1, d)Evidences, states: GR proof. The actions that I take to Please God, are not “My Proof,” that God exists, though, yes, my actions are my Proof of my Hope. God’s Blessings, that HE bestows upon me - ARE my EVIDENCES/PROOF of Things Not Seen = GOD’s REALITY, in Showing Me that HE Loves me, heard my Prayers, & Saw My Actions of Faith! I have Had many Evidences in my life of GOD’s REALITY! So, for me, the Emphasis will always “Be the GLORY of GOD’s Omniscient Power in my Life.” It would be these “Solid Proofs,” that would allow those to Volunteer to go into the Lion’s Den, or, flames - already having Proof that GOD’s Love would prevail, no matter the outcome. I can say, being very imperfect - It is my greatest aspiration, to be ready for such a TESTIMONY, if I am ever called to do so! GOD, IS REAL! HE LOVES ME DEARLY, and HE shows me regularly, HE is Close, by HIS EVIDENCES/PROOFS that I Am Blessed with, from my Father. 🙏🏻

@@Dresseduptogo , you were born good enough! Thoughts and feelings can obscure and communicate otherwise, I know the feeling. You are not your thoughts and feelings though. The formula for faith is: Love for God x Obedience x the Spirit x Confidence = Faith Notice that the factors are multipliers; thus if any of the arguments are at “0” then the result is “0”, hence no faith.

Perhaps you can help me with a question(s) I study a lot and I perhaps have completely missed how the scriptures align with the Old Testament, New Testament, the apocrypha( which Jubilee and Esdras as examples have been proven to be originally part of the canon removed by whomever. I truly enjoy the Book of Mormon, etc.

I'm not sure what your question is asking, but let me share this and hope it provides some answer. My brother-in-law and I have been seeking to learn more about "the mighty change of heart" and it boils down to the pure doctrine of Christ as he taught in 3 Nephi 11: 28-40. The Savior repeated it 3 times for emphasis and basically it is: 1) Faith in the Lord, 2) Repentance for the remission of sins, 3) making and keeping Covenants (at baptism and also other covenants), and 4) being visited with fire and the Holy Ghost - or in other words, becoming spiritually begotten sons and daughters of Christ (Mosiah 5:7). Once you understand His pure doctrine, you can see that all the scriptures you mentioned align with it in your studies. Alma, in Mosiah 18:19-20 commanded the priests he ordained to teach the members after they had been baptized "nothing save it were repentance and faith on the Lord, who had redeemed his people." Unfortunately, some of the pure doctrine has been removed from some scriptures as translators found things that did not fit their preaching and practices. This is what causes confusion and differences in interpretation. Another reason is that the scriptures are from holy men who were moved upon by the Holy Ghost, and to fully understand them, you should pray for the Holy Ghost to attend you as you read them.

I met the Mormon missionaries. They stopped by one day. Masks on. Rang our doorbell. I’m from a different Generation. I thought they were in trouble. The were teaching door to door. So we let them in out of the heat. We offered to feed them, and they had lunch, at my house, with me and my wife. They were young, clean cut, and polite. They asked us about our jobs and family. Talked about where they were from. And then they read a scripture about forgiving others, and giving people second chances. And asked if we would commit ourselves to forgive people? Then, they said a prayer, asking God to bless us. Then they left and did not return. …I don’t know why they stopped by. Their interaction with us was… peculiar. They seemed like we were a task to check off their list. A stop on their way somewhere more important. But they were polite. And I was curious, and invited them in, and let them in, because it’s so hot in Arizona. I don’t know what they were looking for. Help? Rest from the Heat? They were thirsty. Hungry boys. So, since their visit, Ive been thinking about God. I started looking for God. Curious. I guess. Found this video. Gotta say. All your presented, tangent, Bible references, seem like impossible correlations of information. The concept of Moral Agency I appreciate. Sounds like the foundation of Freedom. Our Nation is losing her Freedom. It’s sad. But Faith to do God’s will, and still, he rejects talking to us, until we can step in line with what he wants? Seems cruel. I have kids. They’re full of questions and they need communication, and still, they make mistakes. But if I ignore them until they kill themselves off trying to figure out what I want them to do to make me happy… I’ll only be a cruel narcissistic, stranger in their messed up lives. Kids need communication, and help. I haven’t found that work with God. So he’s a cruel narcissist. Or He’s not real. Either way… two of your Missionaries stopped by my place. They were beat by the sun, hungry, and thirsty. Somebody’s Sons. Somebody’s brothers. I fed them, and gave them cold water and time to rest. And they prayed for me and my wife. I guess we all did God’s work for each other, that day. God’s been pretty silent over the years, with me. Missionaries only been by, once. I suppose i’d do that for anyone. If God’s real… maybe we’d be friends. He’s too busy with things on the southern border of the US. Maybe China, or Afghanistan. Maybe President Biden keeps God rushing around repairing more important things. I don’t think I know what God wants. Cant imagine it. Getting hard to believe anyone, anymore. But, if Missionaries need a break, God can send them here. They’re safe in my home. Damn wicked out there. Don’t know how those boy’s and their families do it. You Mormons are kinda crazy.

What an interesting story and perspective. First of all. If I gave you the impression that God is narcissistic or cruel then I did a very poor job indeed on the video. The video is meant to illustrate that Faith is more than merely believing in God. To have the power of faith in our lives there is an element of action. That faith led to those two missionaries leaving their families and going on a mission. That action was shown by you caring for those two missionaries. All God wants us to do is be happy and then gives us guidelines to help us find that happiness. He tells us to love and care for each other, which is what you did for those two missionaries. You did it out of brotherly kindness. If everyone was as kind as that, we would have many fewer problems in the world. Yes, we may be kinda crazy, but in the end, I hope it is the kind of crazy that does some good in the world. We are all trying to find our way through this life. You are clearly further along than many others in terms of kindness. If I can answer any questions for you, please let me know but I hope my video didn't send the wrong message to you.

Excellent video! Something you forgot to add comes from the Bible dictionary. "All true faith must be based upon correct knowledge or it cannot produce the desired results." If you believe in incorrect secular knowledge, if you mingle philosophy with scripture, if you believe in partial doctrine or incorrect doctrine, or false traditions (D&C93:39) you will have weak faith.

I believe God gives portions of truth to all religions. This may lead to people getting confused and picking a team . What if it is Gods purpose that we all LISTEN to each other and each religion. Maybe when we do this we will become a real human family. Until then it’s this belief against that beliefs. Under those circumstance none is truthful. For instance, I speak many languages. I lived with a holy man from Iran ten years ago. I know nothing about Zoroastrian believes but began a immensely long study. I learned that almost everything from that religion found it’s way into Mormonism … including holy garments. It’s like Joey Smith came along a few old religious books and …. How can I say this without sounding mean. Well let’s just say the biggest crime in academia is plagiarism… or not citing source. Sure I can believe God came face to face with Joey but something tells me he learned from books.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. Luke 11:31-32 The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here. The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. Hebrews 7:26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. Hebrews 4:14-15 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Philippians 2:7-8 but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Romans 5:19 For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 1 Corinthians 1:30 And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. John 10:7 So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. Ezekiel 34:31 And you are my sheep, human sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Lord God.” John 10:16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 1 Corinthians 8:3 But if anyone loves God, he is known by God. Revelation 3:8-9 “‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie-behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet and they will learn that I have loved you. Revelation 2:9 “‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich) and the slander of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned-every one-to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 55:7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Luke 15:10 Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” 2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death. Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel? Ezekiel 18:23 Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live? 1 Timothy 2:4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live.” Hebrews 12:9-10 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. 2 Peter 1:4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. Ephesians 4:23-24 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 🙏🏼
