I work in post production and while I did this I completed a electrical course, it seems I am unable to find myself an apprenticeship due to a lack of work in New Zealand, I possibly have the opportunity to become an Apprentice Printer, would you recommend it and what advice do you have for me?

Move to California if you need work on a press, I got hired working on a press with absolutely zero experience they were hiring people directly from employment agencies with zero experience. One of the biggest printers in the San Francisco Bay Area. There are areas of the United States that are thriving in print production, particularly the southern and the western states.
