I guess trading 1 Wraith for 1 Queen is same cost efficient as it is for "trading Scourges for Science Vessels" - so if pack of 8 Wraiths killing like 6-8 Queens and then die its still worth it for Terran "cost for cost", especially since Queens need time to accumulate energy and Wraiths just "ready to go unit" just when they produced

@@KrisD23 For "one-time suicide mission" they dont need too much - pretty much "ready to go when produced and traveled to Queen location" - 25 energy and 25-50 energy for 25-50 seconds of cloak is enough since they will be killed by hydras right after any way - and they starting with 50 energy exactly when produced if i remember right

Felt bad for the Zerg on this one, a textbook example of how not to attack: send your units one by one in single file into siege tank range, queen support mostly desynchronized with the attack, no useful drops except one attempt at a "zealot bomb" but with lings, dark swarms coming just a bit too late, and being stubborn with your ineffective attacks instead of trying to secure the 12 and 6 o'clock bases (also, how about changing that queen rallying spot?)

I think TvZ is popular because you have a decent chance to see any unit from both sides. other matchups have units that just never happen unless a player is trolling.

Both are evenly matched. Zerg has used every spell in its arsenal but still not enough to overcome mass Terran. Zerg should probably have tried to switch to flyers instead, since Zerg hatch can switch instantly as compared to Terran which is committed to mech.

I have never seen Starship troopers. I prefer TvZ as I feel psionic storm can seem unbeatable at times. I like your Protoss casts as well though. Keep any and all Falcon brood war casts coming!

Man, if he had just taken the time to build a handful of spore colonies for those Queens to hover over while recharging I think this may have gone much differently. And it would have been a lot cheaper in the long run

Good job Royal.. very strong wraiths played today. Very aggressive in defending and attacking as well in the middle of the map. I haven’t seen wraiths killing that much Queens before. Usually Valkyries killing but usually between 3-5 queens. Not a group like this 8-10.

Dang, Royal is turning into my favorite player to watch. He isn't a god like flash, but he seems to try interesting stuff more often. And when's the last time you heard a player made 30+ wraiths against an SSL champ and won?

I too loved playing the campaign on original StarCraft...at first you're all mad about getting overwhelmed on that hold the base for 30 min mission

Falcon, all the wraiths died at 17:20 dude. Each wraith cost as much as a Seige tank. It wasn't cost-inefficient even tho more queens died. Wraiths cost more than queens, especially with cloak on top

True facts. But keeping that queen count low is really useful. Kind of like keeping the tank count low in PvT.

@@FalconPaladin I think you may not precisely noticed what I was pointing out. For the Zerg, getting the Terrain to not make tanks is itself a victory. So if they spend on Goliaths and Wraiths to kill queens, that in and of itself makes it worth it because now the Zerg doesnt have to kill tanks, which are more dangerous. that's all.

I don’t understand why if you attack 1 base and the enemy defends it the strongest, due to constant attacks, why do players continue to hammer there? Why not attack the main base? you need to hit in different places to stretch the defense

Most likely the reason which we saw in-game - when Zerg stopped his constant pressure just for few minutes Terran pushed 12 o-clock and straight kill it, the most fresh (and in fact last) source for Zerg income So it was not only "pressure Terran newest income bases" - but same time "defending his own 12 oclock newest income"
