If Toyota are such genius why don't they put the EGR after the dpf on the 1gd so it at least might make it slightly less likely to have issues with carbon build up?

No manufacturer has done that I’ve said it in videos many years ago they could do that, but these engineers have their piece of paper. They’re just not that intelligent.

​@@Fourby4Diesel Мерседес делает системы рециркуляции низкого давления, на машинах евро 5 и 6,после сажевого фильтра есть тройник, где давление уже низкое , он входит до интеркуллера. Но в такой конструкции еще и забивается интеркулер со временем. И если возникнет проблема с сажевым фильтром, машина остается без ЕГР и со сбоем в турбонаддуве. Так что, тойота выбрала систему с меньшими проблемами.

I have contacts over there that I can supply through and Workshop Partner to do the installation Just relax for people that watch all the videos we have a solution for every problem. Obviously solutions provided as preventative maintenance is better than a fix it up solution.

Those engines at that age have a fault in the pistons that is known and should have been recalled by Toyota. 2 friends with dirty fuel in outback Qld blew within 50 km of each other after filling up at the same location. Both these engines. Dirty fuel proven through testing with Caterpillar. One vehicle written off and the other a new engine at a cost to insurance of around $26000 not including the $6000 tow back to somewhere that could fix it.
