I really want a Cvt but I’m scared. I’ll have a lot of problems with the transmission. There’s a 2019 WRX CVT available at the dealership with 35,869 miles. I live in a smaller town, so WRX’s don’t come through often. I’am a manager for a local business so I drive around mostly. I want something that’s my daily driver but also fun to drive around all day. If I don’t get this car, then the only option will be a Mazda 3 hatchback 4 gen but there is no a backseat room in the car. I’m not much of a Honda fan nor do I want an SUV either…

I think you be fine if you don’t mod it but if you can get a manual I think it be better for the transmission concern…I started having some odd things happen on mine around 85 k miles when I had it ….also check the warranty before you buy 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@AlexGuerreroFilms The WRX comes with a 90 day/3000 mile Powertrain warranty as well as a 30 day exchange. They do offer other customizable warranties available for purchase. To be honest with it being a Cvt wouldn’t know what other warranties to purchase to protect the engine 😓

I think the engine should be fine as long as you do the oil changes on time and put at least 91 oct. The tranny should be fine for the most part probably by the time it starts going out you’ll probably already have sold it and gotten something else so it should last for quite some time all depending on how you drive it too and let it warm up before driving. Worst case scenario you just have to buy a 2-3 k cvt tranny for it 🤷🏻‍♂️. Another car I would suggest would be a q50 3.7 there around the same price range and their faster than the WRX CVT and probably more reliable and their also awd
