She states that she wanted gendry to be apart of her family. She's not the type of person to just have sex with someone then ditch them. Even D&D said that they didn't just have sex, they made love. So nobody can tell me that she didn't love him.

when arya said to jon that she is not going back to winterfell, i really hoped she was gonna say that she will leave for storm's end with gendry. and even after that, until the last moment, i was waiting to see gendry next to her on that freaking ship. so disappointing that not even one couple got a happy ending.

Same was so hoping she'd say travel for a bit then head to storm's end. The war happened because of a Baratheon & Stark, should of ended with a Baratheon & a Stark. So pissed. Was also hoping on the boat we'd hear 'as you wish m'lady' in Gendry's voice while it focused on Arya with her smiling. Then either a shot of him on the boat or a voice over might of been nice. But I guess he was to heartbroken & even in his last scene he was looking at Arya! Also sucks that the only people who knew about them two are dead, I really wanted a reaction scene where Sansa & Jon learned that Arya & Gendry knew each other for years & fell in love. Give us a sequel where Arya goes back to him & he was waiting for her!!!

You can only explore the world for so long before it's just exhausting, and all you really want to do is go to the place you consider home and rest your weary head. It may not be a place she considers "home," but a person. I like to think that at some point when she's done meandering her life away, she'll seek Gendry out.

I'm sad disappointed and heartbroken I guess I was asking too much but I will fantasize about them being together and my gendry and arya love story lives on forever in my mind I am not accepting her ending and refuse to give up on them my hopeless romantic will not let me I feel so let down right now I need a hug and a stiff drink once again I have a bad taste in my mouth I have to believe they are together in that boat I will not accept this arya and gendry ending it's cruel to bring gendry back to arya just to tear them apart from each other again

Love this. I think their ending was open enough that we can make it what we want. No conversation in episode 6 can make it so we think he is on the boat. She is on a gap year or semester at sea. She will go back to him. She just needs to clear her head and find out who she is without her kill list. I am okay with this. They are alive, unattached, and after the initial heartbreak they are on decent terms. That is better than any other ship save for Sam and Gilly.
