Try using that spray can sealer if you have any long term problems, just as a backup.

That’s a good idea actually, that flex seal stuff might also help if I get a little hole or something somewhere

You have to buy a whole new basketball hoop, if you don't repair.... The base is basically the same cost. Great vid Thank you... This summers 2023 heatwave made ours bend and break with the weight of pole and hoop... Going to use my heat gun and solder to do same....

Well so you can buy the base for $297 and some change, or you can buy a whole new basketball goal assembly for $348

That base wouldn't last a day here on the east coast 1 day of freezing weather & it would be junk

Ya I agree, where it freezes it’s best to fill with sand instead, or radiator fluid hahaha

You can do sand or water in these, I’m sure sand will take days to fill haha

@@FixItNick only took me 5 minutes to fill my sons with sand but it had the large 3 inch cap on the very end
