No lie, I got arrested in hs wearing dickies and asked the cop to help me with my pants as I was walking. He asks what’s wrong with my clothes to which I responded I bought them at Walmart. Everyone around me burst into laughter and I was subsequently deposited into the patrol car 😂

I'm fucking crying, that was a good laugh. Back then people looked at you weird if you said you got your clothes from walmart and I was one of those people who wore clothes from walmart. My shit stay sagging up until I started buying clothes for myself in college, now I won't even wear a pair of pants if they remotely sag in anyway unless I can get a belt. I still remember one time someone in school actually asked why my pants keep falling down, to which I said "I forgot my belt", needless to say I was embarrassed and went home to ask my mom to buy me a belt.

@@Shanex250 I'm continuously confused about the quality of clothing in Walmart. Bought a few shirts and pants there that were absolutely better quality than some 2-400 $ pieces I own. Lasted for years cost me like 10-40 $. Bought a belt from them like four months ago and it's broken. I have a 33 inch waist mind you I'm not ripping this belt to shreds with my mammoth waistline or something. Makes zero sense. It's like gambling but with clothes.

Aba seems like the type of dude who always knew in the back of his head when he’s right or wrong but tryna figure himself out and be someone took him on some wild rides. Trying to be the cool guy..just trying to fit in. As he aged he mellowed and embraced the wise part of himself that was always there but he was running away from. That’s pretty much my life as well.

Sound like me. Me and my "friends" threw a dude through a storefront at Eastland Mall in Detroit (Harper woods). When security came they detained me with a mannequin arm in my hands that I was using as a weapon. I was banned for a decade and probation for 5 years. 20 years later, the day they were closing the mall for good, I took my sons to that exact location and explained what i did and told them to do better then me.

"I couldn't even hear a security guard with his knee on my neck telling me to stop" This right here. When adrenaline and testosterone is bursting through your body like crazy, there is no controlling yourself. I've had a similar situation where I almost choked a guy to death and it took 10+ hits to the head with expandable batons from the security guards before I let go, and that was _after_ 20 seconds of stomping from 8 of the dudes friends. Rage is powerful shit and if you have tendencies to it, you need to learn how to control it before it breaks out. If someone else has it, stay clear. Since I became a father, I'm determined to never give in to rage in any other situation than to protect my daughter because I've realized how much it has fucked me over in life. It's not cool, it's not funny. All it is, is a destructive force that are more likely to turn self-destructive than anything else.

I had a hair trigger as a kid/teen. I had a mountain of repressed anger and my first response was violence. I would literally see red and go into a violent fugue state. I'm glad I eventually grew to be a better man and learned to control my temper. I now work with kids in public education and do my best to reach out to the ones I see that same spirit on. I try to stress to them that once violence initiates there's no limits or rules and that all it takes is one moment to irreparably impact or even end a life.

I was the type to say something 1 time then follow immediately with Violence. Cuz in i’m my mind if ppl ain’t listening to me 1st time that mean u ain’t taking me serious and i HATED being played with or laughed at. I am NOT a passive aggressive person so i don’t like it.. NO I am a outwardly aggressive person so I confront that shit with aggression and hostility ..so you can only imagine how many altercations i got in.. so many i calmed down way later got into martial arts & boxing and that provided a much needed release an outlet. I was in university, and out at a local club with a pack of my friends. We were about done for the night and planning on heading back to one of our places to finish off the Friday night. As we were walking out the club doors, one of my friends behind me had to stop to tie his shoe, and called ahead to me, "Hey, Keith.. wait up you bastard!". As I turned to see what he wanted, another dude near the entrance turned to my friend and said in a drunken slur, "Whatthefuckyoucallme?" My friend, not a small guy, stood up, looked him dead in the face and said, "I didn't say anything to you ASSHOLE!". It was on.... dude kicked his shoes off and, I kid you not, went into a martial arts type stance... and my friend, who was over 250lbs, just ran forward, taking dude by surpise, and football tackled him straight backwards into the glass window looking into the dancefloor. They hit HARD. Hard enough the people dancing inside stopped to look what was happening. My friend started beating the living shit out of karate-man who was still startled at having his brain bounced off the thick glass. The dancefloor inside were all pressed up against the window watching my friend headbutt the dude. Bouncers and other patrons flooded out of the entrance, and we promptly pulled my friend off the dude, who hit the wooden floor of the porch at the front of the club. We had to snap my friend out of the gorilla rage he as in, and as we got through to him, "DUDE, WE HAVE TO LEAVE, NOW!" we turned to go to our car in the parking lot and saw karate-man's friends grab another person in our group backwards over the railing into the parking lot and started stomping on him. We ran down the steps to help him, and as we pulled them off him and helped our friend up, we realized a massive brawl had broken out in the parking lot.... patrons with other patrons.... patrons with bouncers.... it was the closest to the Newschannel Brawl in Anchorman that I have ever seen, lol. We hightailed it to my car and got the F out of there before cops were called.

Compared to Aba at 17, my maturity level was off the charts. It probably had to do with the fact that I was the contemplative type and very aware of the world around me. By the way, the sliding phone that Aba’s referring to was called a sidekick. I used to envy those kids who had one. They were cool looking back then.

Man I’m glad I’ve been boxing since middle school. I’ve always been so calm and rational when I’ve been in street fights. Even shocked people when I rendered aid to people I’ve knocked out/ messed up pretty bad. I was in Boy Scouts so I always had a small first aid kit in my bag, I’d offer to help clean wounds and shit after whoopin some ass, got mad respect doing that though. only people I knew prior to the altercation would actually accept the aid occasionally. Everyone else didn’t appreciate it lol Also don’t get me wrong I’ve had my ass beat plenty of times

There's no magic age where being Young And Dumb turns into Old And Wise. Back in high school I saw a little nerdy kid getting bullied, so I walked up behind the bully (guy I knew and thought I was cool with) and stuck a piece of paper up his butt. He immediately turned around and punched me square in the eye. It happened to fast I didn't even know what was goin on. For the next week I had a black eye and I stayed home. When I came back the dude that hit me apologized and said "I'm sorry for that, but ya know you deserved it" and I'm like "Yea I probably did". Worst part, the kid who was getting bullied laughed when I got punched, like little man was a whole ass snake the whole time.
