Let's be real here... most young people don't want to age. Most don't age well.. Old people don't care though since that's the least of your worries when old. It's an understandable answer
@Mariet312 жыл бұрын
Yeah, and when you get to cut your hair that short, you certainly get to prioritize convenience over appearances. Also.... menopause.
@angelacox962 жыл бұрын
Hell some YOUNG people aren't aging well tbh! I'm nearing 40 and have girls in their late 20s comment on it often (some of them already looking aged or having crows feet) -- I don't know this, but I think partly from drugs/alcohol/too much partying and poor diets....some take their youth for granted!
@atropabelladonna31202 жыл бұрын
@@angelacox96 you are on point, even heavy smokers, people who don't sleep enough or people who have psychological issues (such as suffering from a lot of stress/anxiety for years)....in general lifestyle heavily influences how you age, that and genetics too ofc.
@bambina56042 жыл бұрын
Most of them don't even think that they will age.
@mamamarianovits90292 жыл бұрын
Depends on how "old", old is, and how "young", young is. I'm almost 50 with a grandchild, worked my ass off, laid under many a sunny sky ~ without sunscreen, drank, danced, smoked and screwed my way through a damn good life thus far... and most think I am a sibling to my grown children. I tell you, it is in your attitude and your ability to keep laughing in life, for nothing in this realm is worth being hateful, rude, proud and arrogant over... those things make you truly ugly and do age a person unlike anything else. Be humble, be kind, smile often and love hard.💗

whats crazy is that preach is right. boondocks and a lot of other things cant come back because "people are not ready" - but we were earlier in the timeline. how you trying to get somewhere and you go from ready to not ready. and I have people tell me that's what progress looks like - but only the ones too young to actually remember. in some way things have progressed, but, in general, this is one step forward and two steps back. some people are so focused on forward steps they are entirely oblivious to the 2 steps and all this lost ground is the fruit of their labor.

I feel like my parents have always encouraged me to surpass them in many things, and I feel like it should be a parent's goal to raise your kids to do better than you physically, mentally, financially, etc. So I wouldn't call it exposing them, but yes. I would say no if someone asked me if I wanted to look like my parents at that age.
@john.jai.sullivan2 жыл бұрын
I would never, even if I feel like that, why would I voice that thought to people that don’t know anything about me or my mom/dad. My parents always encouraged me to do the same; to surpass them beyond what they were able to accomplish. But I just disagree friend.
@danielnelson48812 жыл бұрын
Man, that was just so hurtful though... What a disrespectful question to ask in general. As an aside, I'd love to look like my dad when I'm older... He's always looked a lot younger than he is. I was thinking it might be a bit different for guys because there isn't as much pressure on them to look good, so girls don't ever want to look like they're going to when they are older haha.
@jessegallegos-king51132 жыл бұрын
@@john.jai.sullivan That's fine. My parents and I are comfortable enough to joke about that stuff anyway. Not everyone has the same kind of relationship with their peeps. Also in the context of entering a gameshow (even if it is fake) you have to take into account that they're going to ask you questions that might be hurtful to your friends and family. It's just a fact. I would never do a gameshow in the first place, but if I somehow ended up in that situation I would definitely answer honestly. Not like my parents would want me to lie to them, hurt them and lose the bag all at the same time.
