Hi, Ryoya, finally got, how to write your name... well: these poor people who wanted the cat litter box liners and got your SD card! You’re a good example for learning constantly, I like to use my timer, too. So I don’t overdo. People like to tease me about my passion for languages, but it’s not as hard as they think. Same with music. I use to improve my English with 'The nanny', 'Gilmore Girls' or a quite old series, called 'bewitched'. Useful and funny and very fast spoken! Hope your cooking book will come out in English, too? Wish you a happy new year from Germany, Monika❣️

It's fun to see how warmly people react to being filmed in your videos, sometimes they may act awkward but they always seem to enjoy your presence Takashima-sensei! Your vlogs are peaceful and eye-opening about many beautiful details in daily life. If you take recommendations about TV shows, perhaps you could try The Good Place! It is also a comedy, but imparts many lessons about ethics in a modern world. One of the characters felt guilty about using dubiously sourced almond milk because of negative environmental impact, which reminded me of how you try to source your ingredients well. Thank you for your simple and enjoyable videos. Wishing you well for the next day!

The procession had all the solemnity of a funeral....hopefully not, but possible. Despite this, it was wonderful to see the traditionally dressed people, and the rest of your day out looked interesting. Fresh air and meeting nice people is always good. Your English is excellent.
This is a bummer. In US if Amazon sends a wrong item, they send UPS to your house to pick it up and refund you. Actually, they have frequently let me keep the wrong item altogether if it’s cheaper for them than shipping it back. Sorry you have to go through this hassle.

I love these vlogs, I hope you keep making them. And nice music👌
It's great to see that your English is improving with every video! Here's some critique: The article for "SD card" should be "an" and not "a" simply because of the way that it's pronounced. "A" is used when followed by consonant sounds, whereas "an" is used when followed by vowel sounds. Even though "S" is a consonant, it is pronounced as "ess", which starts with a vowel sound. At 1:27, you said, "thank you so much for stealing my time to return this". I'm not completely sure what this sentence is meant to say, but if it means what I think it does, then I think that the sentence could be better worded as "Thank you so much for stealing my time and making me return this". In the previous sentence, what the senders of the litter box liners are stealing are the time that you used to return the litter box, which doesn't make sense. In the second sentence, the company is stealing your time and making you return the item. Admittedly, the most grammatically correct way to say it would be "stealing my time by making me return this", however this sounds somewhat awkward because it sounds like you've decided to narrate your day or feel the need to explain the reason for everything, and as of such it is rarely used in everyday speech. Additionally, instead of "stealing time", most people use the expression "wasting time"; I would correct your sentence to say "Thank you so much for wasting my time and making me return this". At 1:32, you said, "I need to go to DHL branch in Kyoto". Firstly, DHL branch should be followed by "the"; "I need to go to *the* DHL branch". Secondly, saying "branch in Kyoto" can be omitted because it's implied; branch can be omitted because in English, the names of company buildings can be used to refer to the buildings (ex. I want to go to the McDonald's across the street), and "in Kyoto" can be omitted because... Well, bluntly, where else would you go? In my McDonald's example, I specified "across the street" because there might be several McDonald's around where I am; "across the street" clarifies which McDonald's that I'm going to, although omitting this location wouldn't make the sentence incorrect. Your sentence names your city, but it's obvious that you'd go to that one, even if you didn't specify that, and seeing as the focus of your sentence wasn't even the location of the DHL but rather the fact that you were going to DHL, I would omit it. Again, this sentence isn't necessarily incorrect, however changing it would make it far more concise. I would change the sentence to "I need to go to the DHL". At 5:17, you said, "I'm back home". This sentence can be interpreted in various ways, and so I'd like to make it more concise. "I'm back" or "I'm home" would be enough to get that point across without giving extra information that could result in confusion; omit one or the other, and the meaning of the sentence becomes clearer. It's great to see you working so hard! Good luck in the rest of 2020!

Thank you as always;)
@cucurtle42265 жыл бұрын
@@RyoyaTakashima It's great to see that you're reading my comments! I must apologize though, as I noticed a mistake: "the" should not be used when the following word is a proper noun unless the proper noun is the only one of that kind, so the corrected sentence should be "I need to go to DHL". Sorry about that! To give some examples: "I need to go to McDonald's" vs "I need to go to the McDonald's on ABC Street". In the second sentence, there is only one McDonald's on ABC Street, so "the" is used, however in the first sentence, "McDonald's" is a very general statement, and there is more than one branch, so "the" is omitted. In your case, if we omit "branch in Kyoto" because it's implied, we can also omit "the" because there are many DHL branches (but it's still implied that you're going to the one in Kyoto, and even if it weren't, that's not the main point of the sentence, and only becomes repetitive). Sorry about that!
