Amy, I love this idea and I haven’t seen it before. You have done a fantastic job. This is the most interesting college I have ever seen. The queen of college has done it again. I love the use of the stencils beneath the magazine while you’re sanding. I actually have never seen them used that way. The magazines look fantastic. I love to collage, also, Amy. It is very relaxing. Isn’t it crazy how filthy we get! So fun, too! Love you my friend, I started watching Mrs Maisel and forgot about it. I will go back to it. So sorry it’s smokey and hot there. I’m freezing today, it’s in the high 60s after we had very hot and humid. It’s so funny how the temperature changes in just a few days. I’m just happy with blue sky and sunshine! ❤❤❤

Thank you for this...I am new to crafting and yet have hundreds of magazines... didn't know how to use some of the pictures but now I know to sand the image down to allow the coffee or tea staining to soak into the paper.... My wife and I too loved The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Now to watch Part 2 to see how it all comes out.

This is such a cool idea Amy, I've never seen anyone do that before. I love how all of your magazine pages turned out with all the different textures and colors, it would make a very cool cover. I don't think I have any magazines but someone gave me a bunch of cheap children's books and I save all of the illustrations I liked from them. They've been just sitting in a pile for years so I think I'll give this a try with them. I might also try it with digitals as well. I have an HP that has water resistant ink and HP paper that has color lock technology, so I can do some wet techniques without ruining the digital, as well as put gesso on them that actually stays white. Well this is a new thing for me. Stencils under and sanding. How cool that is. And well of course I dumped my stack of magazines. But actually I did use them up oretty good. Friend that gave me magazines passed from cancer so I no longer get them. But I guess I can find something to use. Love it.. Great job Amy!!😊 ❤

Hi Amy! Great idea, I’m gonna try to put a stencil under coffee dyed paper or coffee dyed card stock and see if it works. It’s going to be over a 100 degrees here today and my dyed papers are so crunchy. Have a wonderful day and stay cool too. 👍🌻🌻🌻😻

Hmmm, another new technique to try . . . I like the results of the stencil under the magazine page, makes a really interesting pattern. But you didn't loose the saturated colors of the magazine. Be sure to show us the full page before you start cutting it up! Thanks for the inspiration 💕💕💕
