White Bird hill is a heck of a climb. The battlefield is at the bottom. That's an interesting site. My folks lived in Weiser in the 5s,, before I was born.all this is gorgeous country. At Cambridge,,there is a road that goes down to brownlee reservoir on the snake . Have fun R.and S. Ttyl,,,Marlon

My favorite ride on a motorcycle is north on 95 to grangeville then turn right on the lo lo pass to Missoula Montana ... it’s the most beautiful scenic biway in Idaho best ride ever!

My first car was a 75 Vw bus I had to learn it was a long drive but was always worth the memory’s of cruising at a good slow pace it’s like smoking a good cigar I had to learn to go slow in a fast paste world ... very rewarding in the end this world is moving fast I found I have more fun at a slow speed !

No boost Guage on your dash.. I think the C7 8.1 cat is turbocharged.. you should be creating over 30 pounds of boost pressure.

Are you maybe towing / loaded a little more than the bus was designed for? It seems not right that you can’t do more than 25 up White Bird hill. Depending on where you go in the west there will be places I don’t think it would climb? Trusting gps to take you on shortcuts like the one from Grangeville to Kamiah could really leave you in a pickle if you are restricted on power like that. I’m guessing it’s diesel? I would have it checked. Like the boost setting someone mentioned. Kamiah is my chosen retirement spot if the CA folks don’t buy it all up before I get there.

passing lanes are great for getting past an rv or truck but tourists from the eastern part of the USA don't know how to use them....we used to go through Idaho on Lolo pass and stop for lunch along the river and watch the river rafters shoot the rapids

what is the horsepower is our bus? is it turbo?do you have a 5 or 6 speed? I would have thought you had plenty of power for those hills. Are you seeing good boost? my 400 cummins isl pushes 35 pounds of boost on a climb and just pulls like a horse..Maybe you have a boost issue and arent making full power.

We have an 8.3 Cummings with an Allison 3060 transmission. We don’t know anything about the boost. 🤔😃
