Boiling would be pasteurization. You just drink it straight...no boiling. It tastes so much better than that swill in the grocery store.

All we had was raw milk when I was a kid in Canada. Even home delivery was raw before pasteurized milk came out. Bacteria count was carefully monitored by the dairy when received from the farm. Some beneficial bacteria are perfectly acceptable and good for you. You get your first bacteria from your mother's milk. You can see him sterilizing the teets before milking.

That's assuming you were breastfed. Many mothers of late were fooled into thinking that baby formula was better, just like they have fooled most of us that pasteurized milk is better. Now after so many diseases and dependency upon antibiotics they realized they were wrong and that breast feeding is best. Let's hope they get a clue with the cow's milk too.

Nice cows. Look very similar to Jerseys and Guernseys , but different colouring. I totally agree with what he has to say about raw milk being a more wholesome food. You only have to look at that bloke, he is not obese like most people involved in the commercial dairy industry are. I think the biggest thing is getting milk from cows that are not pregnant. When they fall pregnant, they start throwing hormones off into the milk. That's when you should stop milking them. In commercial dairy farms, they milk them all the way through. Milk from pregnant cows is no good for your health, it causes really bad acne, I'm sure of it. I only drink milk from a hand milked non pregnant animal. Nothing else.

I'm in Wisconsin, where alcohol and cigarettes are safe enough to buy but raw milk isn't! grrrr. how can we buy some of what you have? -caryl

I find homogenized milk is relatively congestive in the body, substantially more so than raw or non-homogenized milk. Many diseasements are caused by gunking/congestion of ones body system. Homogenized milk is a substance which promotes congestion within the body,… which contributes to diseasements. And, I also find pasteurized congestive too. As a matter of best body interity / best body health results, I'm a devotee of raw milk and raw milk products.

Do you do all the work on your own ? You need someone to help. You also need to be careful, because, all the air going in the milking machine contaminates your milk. It is considered, that at least one time the air volume of the room gets sucked in by the milking machine.
