That rye is looking great, I’m in a couple of lawn groups and it’s astounding the amount of people that apply herbicides without reading the labels and kill their grass etc. it’s crazy

Nice to see the label being read, proper rinsing of sprayers etc. I know you do it every time, but almost no one else does who is applying at home even thinks about this stuff.

Yep and then they'll complain that their filters or nozzles are blocked due to residue build-up, or they'll say "WhY Is MY LaWN DED" - after spraying a foliar fert but forgetting they did a Glyphosate application previously without flushing the entire system.

Gotta keep them weeds at bay! Things are looking good though, can’t wait for the fairway build videos of the new growth. You should do some Kentucky bluegrass somewhere on the property for fun, love that stuff.

it’s always better to spray mid morning alot of the times early morning and late afternoon a inversion can be in place which makes spray drift more likely i like your work ben and im a tad jealous of your sprayer i want one 😂

He didn’t walk onto the green just after spraying, stood just off the green to show improvement in the stressed areas and some footage from a few days earlier of the stressed areas when he was on the green.

I used to photograph weddings in Melbourne. Summer weddings were my least favourite. The flies would constantly swarm us, crawling into and tickling every bodily orifice and hitch rides on dark clothing. The bride wasn't spared either, the flies get trapped by the dozens/hundreds inside all the layers and folds of the wedding gown. Spent many hours photoshopping them out, one by one.

Dang I always thought bow & arrow was like round up - if u sprayed the entire area it will kit at all - clearly not. You couldn’t spray an entire buffalo lawn right? Just spot spray?

Bow and Arrow is a selective herbicide. Meaning, selected weeds (as per the label) are killed off, but your turf/other weeds will survive. Think of a selective herbicide like this: If I want to get a nut off my car engine (think of the nut as a weed in your lawn), I have to select the right tool (selective herbicide) so that I don't strip the nut head, or worse, damage the engine (damage the lawn). So in the case, I would use a socket set (selective herbicide) to get the nut off (kill the weed). If I wanted to get the nut out (kill the weed), but I didn't care about damaging the engine (damaging the rest of the lawn), then I would drill the nut out (use a knockdown herbicide aka. Roundup (Glyphosate), which would damage the thread/casing of the engine. So, in summary, selective herbicides target specific weeds in your lawn without damaging it, but if you want to kill everything, including your lawn, then you would use a non-selective herbicide (typically known as a knockdown herbicide in the Ag Industry), which would then wipe out everything in comes into contact with.
