I’ve watched many many videos on wig/lace front applications using a number of products, however there are very very few videos that show the proper way to remove a glued wig and how to remove the glue from skin and lace. I think it would be very helpful especially as you seem to use more glue than most of seem and of course there’s a method you must follow daily when it’s time to remove your wigs. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. I’m very new to this.

I swear you have the best reviews out there. I always look forward to your tips for making the wig look so natural. I've yet to buy one because I've been reviewing so many things to make the right purchase. I love the style piece you're wearing, but I'm wondering if you can recommend a heat defiant, preferably completely hand tied and temple to temple lace. I love the color of the one you're wearing in this video. Thank you for your help 🙏 😊

It's water resistant, so it still comes off with water it just takes more of it. I did try running with the black Got2B glued and it was a fail... but I think I will try it with the yellow myself!!

I work out in my wigs. There’s a method that would guarantee security. I only wear wigs to switch up my look every now and then. If you use a wicked head band or tie a thin scarf around the wig and your hairline while working out and wait at least an hour before taking off. it would be good and sealed. This has never failed me.❤️

This video is from two years ago but I hope you see this comment. I looked at your youtube channel but didn’t see one about removing wigs using this glue, more specifically, the yellow one. I would appreciate information on that. Thank you for all your videos. You are so adorable and have awesome content.

Thank you!!! It comes off with just water! Soak a wash cloth and dab the water on the areas where the gel is and let it sit for a bit and it’ll peel right off, then wash your hair and any excess will come right off ❤️❤️

So helpful! I thought the glue went on the forehead area. Actually putting it on your bio hair makes so much sense! Thank you for sharing your techniques 🤗

I am so glad! I definitely get it on my forehead area, maybe 1/4 inch in front of my hairline for the lace... but I personally also like to put it on my hair for more security and so I don't get any escape hairs!! Play with it and see what works for you!
@michellebaker10work3 жыл бұрын
@@TheWiggyWoman I will do that! I think my main concern is once I take my wig off that all of the glue is going to make my hair look even worse than what it typically does. Do you think you can wipe some off with a wet washcloth once you take your wig off? I typically don’t shower until the morning.
@TheWiggyWoman3 жыл бұрын
Once you get it wet enough to get the wig off, there will still be gel in your hair and some of it will be chunky. On a regular day after work, once the wig is off I just moisten my hair to the point that all the gel is soft again and comb it through my hair. Yes, my hair will look like there's product in it, but it's manageable until I can wash it off. For the amount of gel in my hair for the roller coasters, that was hopeless and needed to be washed a few times right away to get rid of it all.

@TheWiggyWoman3 жыл бұрын
I actually filmed that but ended up cutting it because it was just me sitting on the couch with a wet towel on my head 🤣🤣 But that’s really it- soak a towel in water and use it to soak that crown section. If it’s just an average day, I just run a damp wash cloth over the hairline and it comes right off. Once that Got2B gets remoistened it will come right off. The more gel you use, the more moisture you’ll need. But- it’s just water!

@TheWiggyWoman3 жыл бұрын
You are so welcome!! I just did disney the other day and same tricks, different wig and it was 100% great all day! I just removed it with water, this is like a hair gel vs. a true adhesive so it comes off by dabbing or soaking with a wet cloth.

Wow! Thank you for your video! 😊❤️🙏🏻 I never used so much so I probably was doing it wrong. I will try your method. Does the got to b glued make the synthetic hair real crunchy? When I put a little too much on, it seemed like it didn’t get tacky but instead seeped through the mono top & made the hair really crunchy
@TheWiggyWoman3 жыл бұрын
I would never use that much for just a regular day at the office - I went nuts with the gel only because I was going on roller coasters and knew I would be putting them to the test! If you get gel on the fibers, it will definitely make them crunchy. You want to keep the glue on the inside of the cap, and avoid getting it on the hair. I put the gel on, and then let it dry for a few minutes until it's stickier and then add the wig so that there's less that oozes through the lace!

@sandyludlow22543 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this video. Helps a lot. Two things though. Firstly, I see you used a fully hand-tied wig for everyday and full on movement adhesion. Can your method work on lace front basic cap wigs? Secondly, you did not apply adhesive to your nape. I assume it's not necessary. X Sandy
@TheWiggyWoman3 жыл бұрын
Great attention to detail!! I didn’t do the nape because it wasn’t necessary… wigs slip back more than up so by securing the top, the back couldn’t really move and I didn’t want it to be overkill. Also my ponytail helps stabilize the nape. This would likely work on a lace front basic cap wig, as long as you can get the top material into the gel enough that it holds strong!
@sandyludlow22543 жыл бұрын
@@TheWiggyWoman Tx a ton for your reply. I have very short hair, so no pony tail to help secure the nape. I'm waiting on an order for Got2b glued. I'll definitely try your method and let you know my progress. X Sandy

I have a lot of natural hair, but wear wigs for convenience and because they just look better than my own hair. Do you feel this procedure causes hair loss? I am intrigued about doing this, but concerned. Thank you.
@TheWiggyWoman3 жыл бұрын
This stuff is super strong hold when dry, but when wet it goes back to gel. For everyday wear, I just use the gel on my hairline. At the end of the day I use a damp washcloth or spray bottle to wet the hairline and it comes right off. For theme parks, I soaked my head with a wet towel for about 30 minutes until the gel around the wig loosened and it peeled right off. It took more soaking, but does eventually come off with water. Then I spent another 30 mins or so washing the remaining gel from my hair. It was a lot more gel than I’d typically wear and I only did that because I needed extreme hold. If you try to peel it off while still solid, without wetting it, it would rip hair out so definitely make sure it’s been re-wet.

@@TheWiggyWoman this method works for me a put a bit of the gel first then use a blow dry to make it tacky and then the spray. The wig wouldn’t come off for a few days without touch ups, I wouldn’t recommend leaving a wig on for more than 2 days ( I only would if i’m on a vacation or flying for work). I’ve been on roller coasters, sex, or in very windy situations and my wigs have never come off.

How do you get it off wig once off your head?
@TheWiggyWoman3 жыл бұрын
Just water! For a regular day I just dab a wet cloth over my hairline. For the roller coasters I just sat with a wet washcloth on my head for about 30 minutes to kind of soak it off
@kimrametes68583 жыл бұрын
Would you put the cloth on the wig also to get the glue off it?
@TheWiggyWoman3 жыл бұрын
After roller coasters- the whole wig probably needs to be washed because that’s a lot of gel. For just a regular day, yea I just wipe/rinse the lace pieces with water and try not to get the rest to wet if it’s not ready for a full wash
