Was this a non heat wig? how would you curl a non heat friendly wig

Girl, you keep saying "look natural." You don't look natural at all. Those dark over bearing roots look horrible. With your fair skin you need a soft rooted wig. And then tone down that lip stick, YIKES! Ditch the old street walker grandma red & try a mauve. Animal printed shirt, ugh. If you must wear that print, you need a darker version to go with your fair complexion.

you have to use alcohol 90% with the Rit dye more for it to work really well.

I am new into my wig journey, only 6 weeks and I am battling a very very shiny wig and I have tried all the hacks. Dry shampoo is the worst because it makes my wig feel like straw. I don't know what to do. I've tried baking soda and I'm just ready to pack the wig up and put it away and give up. No matter what I do, the wig ends up shinier, and I paid $160 for it!

Last one too much shine and too thick. Looks artificial.

the lace matched your skin tone. I have a medium tan tone. the lace is noticeable. do you suggest I cut it all the way to the line where the lace is shown? should I color the lace darker?

Thank you! That was fun and informative. I have very fine and thin hair, a tight budget, and an extremely creative mind! Lol I’ve been having fun with hair pieces. The best way to fade wig shine is to use liquid fabric softener. It took the shine right out. Be sure to wash it out because the smell becomes very strong and nauseating after a while.

Also,Ive heard it really makes a difference if you get the synthetic hair totally wet w/hot water b4 putting it into the dye bath..

Have you tried acrylic ink,or acrylic paint?

I’ve told family and friends. I joked that I was beginning to look like my dad in a way I’d rather not. 😜 Neighbors, Im sure, have figured it out considering I wear different colors and lengths all the time. My biggest dilemma is deciding which wig to wear that goes best with the outfit of the day. My bio hair never looked as good as my wigs, even on my best hair day. 😊

Hi! Great video. I have a problem with wigs, since they are 18” or more long, no mater how I secure it, they are always falling back because of the weight, pulling my hairline with it. Any recommendations to prevent that from happening?

That is the most UNNATURAL way to wear a topper I've seen. Your placing the topper behind your hair which is a different color makes it obvious it's a topper.
