2,30 is a crime, but other than that: This is how you do a comeback! 💚 It was everything I thought it would be from the teaser, yet nothing like I imagined! It was dirty, but clean; hard, but soft! I loved the realness of the lyrics, about being famous and having it all, but still being stuck in a bad relationship. A python doesn't kill its prey by venom, it wraps around it and sqeezes the life out of it slowly. You want to escape, but can't. At the end of the day money and fame can't buy you freedom, or mental health. Bambam did an exellent job producing this 🐍 We often joke that GOT7 biggest fans are GOT7 themselfs, and this mv proves it. The amount of call backs to old mv's and song are a lot: The opening shot of them standing in a circle looking up is like the opening of "You Calling My Name" lying in a circle looking up, we also see Jackson video taping the rest of the boys goofing around like in "Fly", the plane is a reference to "Hard Carry", in stead of the boys breaking Jinyoung out (like in The Flight Log Trilogy) we see him opening the limo window so they can all get out - this time together, the snow globe is from "Miracle", and then there's the "Playground" which is considered canon in their discography due to it being used for a fan greeting at their very first fan meeting in 2014. They also referenced the "Playground" in "Last Piece", where they said something along the lines of "Being without you (ahgase) is like a playground without any kids" - meaning without ahgase there is no GOT7🐥And then they even have the image of Jay B and Jinyoung entering that "gate" together before the others join - the memory of JJ Project as everyones mom and dad lives on 🥰 On a personal note I can say that this comeback made me come to a realisation. For years I've been saying that Yugyeom is my bias and Jinyoung is my main wrecker. However when Jinyoung came in it felt like a personal attack. It was like he was walking casually up to me on that treadmill saying: "Listen, I know you've been catagorizing me as "just" main wrecker for years, but who are you kidding? We both know I'm more! Make it official already!" - and he's right, he is more! 😁 So I am officially claiming it, after being an Ahgase for 5 years: Jinyoung is (together with Yugyeom) my bias! I can't keep lying to myself! 😍

It's nice to see you like it.💚 I have a theory when it comes to the mv tho. We can see a lot of elements about the music industry and being constantly under the the flashlights, but we can see, I and other ahgases think so, a lot of references to their old songs... Like the snow globe of Miracle, the plane from Hard carry, Mark making the Look sign in the beginning, the broken glass of YCMN, the mirrors fro.m Eclipse, the clouds with Jinyoung from Fly, the playground at the end of course... This one is obvious. We think it's like their journey and how they get there with the hardships that go with it. So I was wondering if the "she" that they should move on but can't let go and that have a grip on them, that they re addicted too, always there etc... I wonder if it's us actually😅

We found out in a live today that Python wasn't originally the title track which probably explains why it's so short. Tidal wave was the original title track but yeah Yugyeom pushed for this one instead and they put it to a re-vote. I love Python as the title track though! Tidal Wave is amazing but this just feels more like a title track to me. We've also heard that Youngjae's song Our Youth is about Got7's youth from his eyes.
