The desperation in "Lonely", the sweetness of "Ride", and the sassy, recentfull and sexy "Bad" - this is just perfect! It's been a month now, and I am still not over his cover of Christophers (a Danish artist) Bad, seriously I get goosebumps everytime! I was just so shook by it and by him, and I definitly suddenly saw him in a whole other light... Welcome to my bias wrecker list, Youngjae 😀

Yeah, I knew you were gonna be attacked with this video 😂 I've always said that his lower, deeper and softer registers are so rich and full. We don't talk about it enough. He has this ability to immerse himself and emote the feeling of the song...he went from pain and angst in Lonely to sweet, light, sweet fun in Ride to aggressive and sexy in Bad and you could hear every bit of those emotions in his voice. The versatility in this 10 minute clip is ridiculous! I agree, his vocal range is insane and can cover any genre, as proven here. Three songs with three completely different vibes and he slayed with each one. Lonely is his self written and composed song. Ride is a cover of Solo's song and Bad is a cover of Christopher's song. I was introduced to Bad when Youngjae played it during one of his vlives in 2020. And in another live, he said that he wanted to someday cover the song. The runs and adlibs he did in this cover, chefs kiss! His cover definitely lived up to the original. It's a hard sell for a cover to be preferred over an original, but I would say I prefer this cover, that's how good it is. You should check out his OST's. He has about 5 now: At the usual time (Total rock vibes), Falling For You, Popstar, Meet me when the sun goes down and Goodbye days from his musical, and the latest, So not Worth it from his Netlfix show. His vocal's weren't used to their full potential in ex co and he was never given the opportunity to promote himself. He is finally getting these opportunities and I hope more people come to love and appreciate him as the amazing artist that he is, as much as we do. I need to still catch up an all your Yugbam reactions when I can find the time.

I agree with your points! I love his lower registers, we just dont hear it that much, also how his vocal isnt used to the full potential in ex company, heck he barely got to show his solo performance unless on concerts. I hope with his solo album later we will see it.

I really like that he can do so many things now and show different sides of himself that he cant show much previously. I think he is versatile especially looking at his songs and covers so there are many possibilities about the direction for his solo album/music
