Just to clarify, cause I didn't see anyone talking about it. The hacker, Daru, DOES NOT do all the work, Okabe IS a scientist, he studies, test, made the calculus, the research, the ideas, he comprehends and applies everything into his theories, he may act mad and nuts, but dude is SMART as hell, and a great believer in his friends, in himself, and in the science. - - - - - - - - - Daru mostly does what okarin tells him, about mechanics and informatics, yes, he made them work after he's given the instructions.

One of the best thing about steins:gate is how there's so much real science in it before they twist them into fiction. Even things like the Cern's LHC had people being concerned that it had the potential to create a black hole that could destroy the earth. If you really enjoy steins gate by the time you're done with it, maybe it could be fun 'playing' the Visual Novel. It's basically reading a book with illustrations but you make choices in the game that affect how the story goes and how it ends.

Yes, microwave bananas are very much a normal thing to eat. In fact, plenty of fruits are common to heat in a microwave, apples are a popular choice too. They get sweeter and juicier for some reason. Personally I don't like them though. Also worth noting that most people use a different type of banana than the one you'd usually eat raw.

You dont peel banana before putting in microwave becose it will spill allower plate. You have to make some holes in skin. You can also cut skin longways and put on banana some chocolate.
