ㅋㅋ I could tell by the expression on your face just how much this Forestella version of the song effected you. I am sorry to tell you but I kind of laughed after seeing the telltale sign of someone who literally stopped breathing from listening to this particular song. Anyway, the only other thing I can say is that you at least didn’t burst out in tears the way I have had even after hearing these fabulous four and that, sir, is an amazing feat in itself I tell you. lol As for your next Forestella project I strongly recommend “Lazenca, Save Us.” because this time you will experience different kind of breathless moment from the sheer impact of the song and the performance itself. BTW, the song lyrics of the original “Hijo De La Luna” is quite different from what you just have heard so be sure to look up the Forestella’s version of the song. It’s poetic lyrics that exude a little different connotation would pleasantly surprise you. (Mind you though, the Korean lyrics is a bit different from the English version, however, it’s close enough to be able to still delivers the message…) And lastly, welcome to the Forestella rabbit hole, which I would think is quite different from your regular BTS size hole, sir. =n_n=

I'm guessing why you started with this song, not with Bohemian Rhapsody even though many people would have recommended that. I think it's because the most watched Bohemian Rhapsody videos from KBS are all blocked for abroad now. One from KBS Immortal Songs has 2.6M views, another from KBS Open Concert has 1.8M views and the compilation videos icluding Bohemian Rhapsody also have 1.8M, 1.4M views..and they are not available for abroad now.. It's a big pity you cannot watch those.. but still there are some available videos and I recommend the Mystique live concert video in the Universal Music Classics channel. As the clip was used for their live concert Video KIT & DVD promotion advertisement, they are not gonna be so strict with copyright issues. Even it's not the best version of their Bohemian Rhapsody, you should watch their stage presentation with qualified sound IMO.

This is old time beautiful song! The song talks about the moon who wants to be a mother, but can’t find a love to have with. She finds her love or ( querer) is a different way to call a lover that you not in love but love him for what he did. She gets pregnant with the baby she really have dream for. She gives birth to a kid that is Alvino, she was in love with him, but the man wasn’t. He kills her and puts the baby in the train tracks. The story end here, this is the story of how alvinos came into being. I imagine the baby didn’t die. I love this song and was obsessed with it when I was in college, it has been years that I had not heard it. The other day a singer from Argentina in one of her old videos is singing this song and it came all back, tears came down my face and a week later you come up with this song by this amazing group of guys that make me cry again with their beautiful voices. Thanks, a people tell me that I’m a child of the mood because I’m cancer and I’m really moody! Sorry

Hijo de la Luna - Son of the Moon- is a song from Mecano (80s spanish band, and still legends in my country. They marked a turning point in the history of spanish music). Even kids nowadays have heard most of their songs. This cover is just a blessing! My parents and their generation grew up listening to Mecano... I showed them this performance and they got kinda emotional. They were taken back to their 20s for a few minutes ❤️ kzbin.info/www/bejne/haiqeGicjZyVrrs Just in case you feel curious about the original version from 1986. The story behind the song: It all begins with The Moon wanting to become a mother. She obviously can't. Then, she comes across a gipsy woman that needs to get married as soon as possible and both make a deal: The Moon will grant her wish, but the woman will give up her first child in return. Later on, the woman gives birth to a baby who does not resemble his romani father at all... The child has white skin, as "ermine's fur" and grey eyes (he truly is the Son of the Moon). The tragedy starts, as the father thinks his wife cheated on him. Out of revenge he kills her and leaves the child in the woods. The Moon embraces the kid and becomes his mother, as she had always wished.

I discovered the song when I was a child because Mecano have make a French version of this song. But I've also listen the Spanish version because my grandfather was from Barcelona. I like the both version and I love so much this song. When my eldest daughter was baby I sometimes sang this for her, like a lullaby.

They are a team of the best people in their fields. First of all, two people who majored in classical training graduated from Seoul National University's vocal department and graduate school. Two of them all won the best classical competitions in Korea, which means they have the best skills in classical music. There's something that Cho Mingyu said to Ko Woo-rim in the Phantom Singer competition' We need a new voice because we have similar classical voices. Kang Hyung-ho and Bae Doo-hoon, who have rock and popy vocalizations, were selected by Cho & Ko and became the current Forrestella. They can produce a wide range of sounds, and can perform various genres of music such as rock, musical, pop, as well as classical music. People who are already prepared.
