*Dreamcatcher* "Reason" was their gift to *Insomnia* (fandom). The MV shows their hard work and struggle to succeed. The big hand was Insomnia lifting them to the top. Finally getting their 1st First Place Award, years after debut.

One thing I noticed was that at the top of the climb wasn't a trophy, it wasn't an award or acclimation. At the top was the Insomnia symbol of their light stick and when they walked through it, it was all their concerts- their time with us. That is what their success is to them, that is their "trophy," the memories of being on stage interacting with us

"Reason" is the fan-song for Dreamcatcher's 6th anniversary. I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of them. They're flexing their rock and vocal muscles, while all three rappers make an appearance. InSomnia might be lifting them up, but they should know, they are also carrying us. Happy 6th anniversary, Dreamcatcher! Can you imagine this song live? With us InSomnia going Whoooo-whoooaaa and them singing over it? 😊 I wouldn't be surprised if the animations were done by a fan, I seem to recognize the style. Whoever did them, they did a great job. I see the book from the Nightmare arc, the mask from Scream, the gun from R.o.S.E Blue, the gagged bust from Boca, the cup from Odd Eye, the hand through the mirror from Good Night and the clock from Piri. Musically, I am in heaven. I'm a metalhead and I love the song. AND THAT RIFF! 🤘🎸 Obviously the song is an absolute anthem! If you can afford it, please remember to purchase the MP3. I got mine from Amazon, and I love listening to the instrumental as well!

Never thought of it that way, to build on this even more, the first one rapping is the lead in both cases and the second one the main rapper (or at least if I remember it correctly SuA was main rapper in Minx, not in the beginning of Dreamcatcher). It would be really cool if they did that intentionally!

My theory on the likes to views.. Is because fans can only like the video once but watch it over and over. For us insomnias the video is amazing and packed with so many references and meaning, and really emotional (I still get teary eyed watching it after like 50 views 😂)... But for people who are new to Dreamcatcher or just casual viewers, it doesn't have the theatrical aspect that so many Kpop videos have, so they are probably less likely to hit the like button. This song really was a gift to their fans, not really intended to get huge numbers or anything like a normal comeback is, and we love them for it ❤️

Yea the video must have caught a large audience outside the fanbase, as this is the fastest ever mv to reach 21m views by a big margin. Vision has 21m and 300k likes but took 3 months. Dreamcatcher being 'stair idols' as shown in mv must have caught good clout in Korea or something, lol. We're still waiting for the rest of the fan's to watch it and like it haha

This was a single release for the fans to celebrate their 6th anniversary. I thought it was great, a real throwback to their "rock" sound era. I don't think they are as underrated as they were a couple of years ago. They consistently sell over 100,000 of each album now, they've had their first music show wins, have a huge international fanbase and have done multiple world tours. And they've all signed new contracts, so we have a few more years worth of Dreamcatcher music to look forward too!

Mit einem unheimlich emotionalen Video - jedenfalls für diejenigen, die ihren steinigen Weg seit nunmehr 6 Jahren verfolgt haben. Und das Ding geht durch die Decke. Über 21 Mio seit Veröffentlichung am letzten Freitag (13.01.2023). Es wird ihre Hymne und hoffentlich bei jedem Live-Konzert gespielt werden. Dreamcatcher sind einfach unglaublich. The insane high notes really display the love for Insomnia, you can just feel the emotions in each word. Keep up the great work.

dreamcatcher \:D/ it's their 6th anniversary fan song, a gift to their fans, insomnias. six years ago last friday... the 13th, they were reborn from failure and it's been a slow step by step climb. for a casual listener, this song and video might be underwhelming but for insomnias it's perfection. probably the reason for the views/likes discrepancy is due to insomnias streaming the hell out of the song like I have been. unfortunately we can only each like it once ;)

The Korean text at the beginning says "Because of InSomnia, Dreamcatcher exists" which just encapsulates their love for their fans and our love for them. I will admit that I was quite sad when his Dreamcatcher reactions kind of just dropped off (aside from comebacks). I know they won't get the most audience for reactions for him so I can understand him spreading his attention in other areas but I truly feel like some of the best songs he would probably like have not been reacted to on this channel. And there are albums worth of songs waiting for his ears and heart. I just hope he has already listened to them on his own or maybe he has done so on his Twitch or Patreon.

I was wondering about the stats of the mv as well. Both the number of likes and comments are pretty low comparatively. Considering the views I would have expected Reason to currently be in the top 5 Dreamcatcher songs on spotify, but it's not. I don't know if some insomnia are doing some perfect aggressive streaming, or if KZbin's changed their way of checking streams or if it's completely organic and just the way the stats turned out for this song. Looks like it's hit the wall now, and streaming is slowing significantly. Regardless, i love the song and probably caused a fair number of the streams.
