Dreamcatcher only have one full album (Dystopia: The Tree of Language), but they have multiple mini-albums. It's very common in Kpop for groups to release far more EPs than full-lengths, which is something I wasn't used to at first, coming from a background where I mostly listened to metal. As for future DC recs, "BEcause" is a stand-alone song (so you don't have to commit to another trilogy or series of MVs) as well as being quite recent (being released right after "Odd Eye"). Another good one is "Deja Vu," which is also stand-alone, and definitely one of the most unanimously beloved songs in the fandom.

Their latest is “BEcause”, a horror themed (based on the movie Us) MV. It’s supposed to be a summer song, but it’s creepy. Then, most reactors check out their debut song “Chase Me” and go from there. Their B-sides are an experiment in many genre’s from ballads, hard rock, grooves to EDM. Their harder songs (Japanese releases) are “Endless Night” and “No More”.

Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger!

Yes the girls will have a comeback early April and will come back with their 2nd full album. We are now just waiting for them to release mystery codes/ concept, which will be anytime this month. I personally am staking their twitter and insta for any announcements cause I can't wait 🤣🤣. Happy to see you are enjoying their songs and I think it's good to just take your time with it as I wish I could go back and experience it all for the first time 😭😭. Dreamcatcher is my favorite girl group, they're amazing!! Please react to boygroup ATEEZ - ANSWER or WONDERLAND, this group has the same producers as Dreamcatcher, although they have a very different style from theirs, they're very talented too. His vocals, raps and choreography are amazing and catch the attention of many people for his live performances, you'll not regret.

Kpop groups generally release more Singles or Mini Albums. It may have to do with production costs and time, a full album is more expensive and takes much longer to finish. Dreamcatcher has become my favorite girl group and Dami, the main rapper and is my Bias n_n I would recommend you see a guide, the history of this group is similar to BTS, they come from a small company and have had to fight tooth and nail to be taken into account, more because the genre of rock or metal is not as appreciated in Korea as it is in the rest of the world. Besides that when you discover their personalities you love them more, they are chaotic, sweet and noisy XD

you should check out some more of their music before going into a guide. maybe try 'because' since it's their most recent title track and is a stand alone music video. their main rapper, dami, also changes her rap style in nearly every song to match the musical style. also they have 50+ songs. they only have 1 full album, but most of their releases are in the form of a mini album which has around 4 songs each. their full album 'tree of language' is one of the best albums I've heard anywhere so I don't just mean kpop. every song is so distinct from each other with songs across multiple genres. in addition to 'scream', the tree of language album has a few other music/performance videos you can check out: "red sun", "black or white", "sahara".

They have one full album and they'll be dropping the next full album in April. They have 6 mini albums, 2 special mini albums (that aren't a part of the storylines), 2 single albums and a bunch of Japanese albums and digital single. If you like Dami, you should check out her compositions too. Including her personal projects like once upon a time, butterfly (for her late dog), new days (from the 6th album Road to Utopia) and her and Siyeon's cover of ping pong, and their official ost Shadow (both versions lyric videos). Not to mention her cover of Bang bang bang is pretty damn iconic.

Odd Eye is my faaaaave! And the rapper is Dami!!! She really does have one of the most unique and cool and powerful voices I’ve ever heard, not to mention she doesn’t even NEED an expression to intimidate you. But would you believe she also has one of the highest ranges in the group and an amazingly calm and sweet head voice? (Yes yes she’s my bias lmao) I really recommend you watch their live vocal performance of this song for Esquire Korea. Because they really are THAT good and THAT powerful just standing there with microphones. They have one full album, but many more mini albums! oh man. I’ve been waiting for thissssss!! Can’t wait for the next one, i can’t wait for you to learn more about them, they’re so so amazing ladies, they’re so talented, hard working and honestly freaking hilarious. They also have the Special Clips which are lower-budget MVs for their b-sides like self made MVs, or halloween dance practices, song covers, dance covers, etc. As an insomnia, i can confidently say, we are SPOILED by those ladies. They never win awards (they’re not from the big three YG, SM, JYP) can u believe that? And yet they keep pushing and pushing and they don’t lose their spirit at all. Appreciate the Dreamcatcher love, as always! No one in the game is doing it like they do. They really are amazing. I started taking a dive into K-pop in August. I told myself it was about the music and that I wouldn't get attached to anyone...then I listened to Dreamcatcher mid-December. I've been literally obsessed with them since then. The more you learn about the members, what they've been through, and what they represent, the more you're going to absolutely all for them. I've had such a difficult time breaking away from them. 😂 I'm hopeless at this point. I see a lot of "BEcause" suggestions. You can also check out "Deja Vu" as an alternative. It's also a standalone song. I do want to say that I appreciate the fact that you either respond or acknowledge as many comments as you can. I personally have noticed. Thanks for that! 😁

I don't know which one you're thinking of doing next.. my advice would be either "BEcause" since it's their latest release or my guilty pleasure "deja vu" in which their vocal ability shines a lot brighter, it has orchestral elements and is just overall a literal journey (it's a song created to advertise a game so they basically created a story with their song that compliments both their style and the game (the videoclip is kind of insane too)) or you could really fall on the rabbit hole and react to the nightmare series (I went to check so even if you don't want to react to it now you can save it for a later reaction, the order of the songs in the nightmare series is: - Fly High - Chase Me (which is also their debut song) - Good Night - You and I - What - Piri - Breaking Out - and last but not least, Endless Night (my personal fav) )

Dreamcatcher has one full album, but the rest of their discography are mini albums. With that in mind, they have plenty of songs you have to check out. From special clips of the covers they do, to B-sides which I feel are all title tracks, to their self made MV's. Dreamcatcher keeps their fans fed with content no doubt. Now I suggest that you should also reacting to their Nightmare Arc. I'm sure as hell you would find them more than interesting enough, and more rock n roll also. This song had to grow on me. It has a pop sound I don’t typically vibe with, but it wasn’t to the point of being off-putting, so I was able to give it more listens. In k-pop, most groups release 2-3 EPs annually. Full albums are rare due to the fact that they take more time and are expensive to produce. Companies therefore have to be strategic, especially if the group doesn’t consistently bring in a certain amount in sales. EPs contain 5-7 songs on average. So if you’re getting 2-3 of those a year, it’s plenty of content. Full albums may only have 3-4 more songs, but it’s still nice to see a group get one. Kinda feels like a milestone or rite of passage. P.S. Some groups may only put out 1 EP in a year, and that is often due to members doing other projects, or their company is struggling. The latter is unfortunate. (There are 3 groups I absolutely adore that are going through this situation right now.)

They've already got two Studio Albums, one Korean, with Scream in it, and one Japanese Full Album (Studio Album). A new Studio Album is coming in April. And they have a ton of Mini Albums (EPs) and Singles. They have so many songs, and none is bad. Their Title Tracks, their b-sides, their Special songs and clips. They're also cover queens. If you're interested in more behind the scenes stuff and other types of performances they do, there's a channel called "It's Live" they've been featured on where they've performed Odd Eye, BEcause and another song with a live band. Like most groups they also release dance practices, their own MV reactions, bts of the mv shooting and have their own 10 episode long variety show on KZbin called Dreamcatcher Mind, among a lot of other things. There's just a lot to delve into when it comes to K-pop groups lmao. With that said I'd like to recommend another group called TXT and two of their songs called "We lost the summer" and "Crown".

As long as you don’t mind the spoilers there are a bunch of really good guides to choose from. I definitely recommend checking out live stages and their live band stages to see how amazing they preform. They have one of the best performances stage wise then most groups. They are very intense. All them have the same vocals as their studio versions in the song. Dami (the rapper) voice is really that deep and Siyeon (main vocal) really hits the high notes along with Yoohyeon (lead vocal). They are just on another level.

This is my suggestion of songs to react in order: BeCause (latest), Endless Night (most metal sound), Deja Vu (most beautiful), Piri (best musical arrangement) Chase Me/Good Night/Fly High (three songs in Nighmare Series). Yes! They are having their comeback in April with full length album (the first one with OT7 as Handong was in China for the Tree of Language recording and promotion). As far as what song is next, I suggest BEcause (their latest comeback) and Deja Vu (the song many consider their masterpiece). Before jumping on any introduction videos, you should probably listen to their debut 'Chase Me' as well as the rest of the Nightmare series so you don't get spoiled by any introduction video that uses those songs.

Hi there! Me again! Dreamcatcher is having a comeback in April! They only have 1 full length album but have 7 mini albums. This comeback is going to be their 2nd full album. If you want to check out a guide or introduction to Dreamcatcher, I highly suggest "The Ultimate Guide to Dreamcatcher" by Kraayjay. The video is for 2020 which mean it goes as far as Scream, but it has accurate information and really well put together. Another that is suggested is Insomnicsy's "This is..." series. I highly suggest doing both the 202o and 2021 versions. This series focuses on individual members, covering more off stage personalities. 2020 version is like a part 1 and 2021 version is a "hey this is also them" kind of video. Kpop groups usually release mini albums (with 5-6 songs, more or less) and when they release full albums (more than 10 songs) it is usually something very important!! Releasing mini albums is something that allows them to make comebacks even up to 2 times a year. But apparently, the albums are counted separately, the mini ones on one side... and the full ones on the other. So you can hear or read that a group that debuted many years ago 'Has 1 full album' and when they say that they don't count the minis, which are many more. They call it a 'comeback' every time they come out with a new album (either mini or full) I agree with another comment that you should check out their last comeback, (which was in August if I'm not wrong) the song is called 'BEcause' and it's Dreamcatcher's summer concept 🤣 it has other vibes but just as cool. First Law of Dreamcatcher - It's all of them. The blonde bob (Siyeon, pronounced she-yawn) is known as wolf because her stares and facial expressions are magnitudes more intense than the typical kpop idol. Facial expression is the most important part of dancing so it's usually the Main Dancer of groups that has a clear lock on facial expressiveness; Siyeon is Main Vocal. Gahyeon is learning from her (you'll see Red Hair at the beginning of BEcause and how her face adds to the specific lyric). That's where the First Law of Dreamcatcher comes in explaining WHY they're so overwhelming, our minds can't sort them into easy performance/musical boxes, it's all of them.

There's a ton of information and recommendations on what you should watch next in the comments already. I'm going to summarize some of it to (maybe) help you figure out what's next. Dreamcatcher has had two ongoing series on their MV's. 1) The Nightmare series, which is a dark story of how a group of boarding school girls were turned into Nightmares, consists of... *Chase Me (debut) *Good Night *Fly High (prequel to Chase Me) *You and I *What *Piri These should really be watched in release order, as listed above, to get the full impact of the series. 1) The Dystopia series, which you've already seen. There are 2 stand alone tracks that were a collaboration with 2 different mobile game companies. They are... *Deja Vu (for the King's Raid game) *Rose Blue (for the Girl Cafe Gun game) There is also one more stand alone track which was part of Dreamcatcher's take on the 'Fun Summer Bop' that's so common in kpop. Note: In true DC fashion, the fun here is also accompanied by much creepiness. It's called... *BEcause Last but not least are the Japanese releases... *Breaking Out (considered by many to be an alternate ending for the Nightmare Series) *Endless Night *No More *Eclipse (OST for the King's Raid Anime) Note: Their Japanese releases tend to lean a lot harder into the rock / metal side of their music, simply because rock and metal are more appreciated in Japan than it is in Korea. Then there is the plethora of [Special Clips] on their official channel consisting of their solo work, B-side MV's, cover songs, dance covers and so on. PS: And, yes, everybody loves Dami's (the rapper) voice. Well, as you can see, if you decide to do a deep dive into Dreamcatcher, it's going to be a very DEEEEEP dive. My personal suggestion would be to react to BEcause and Deja Vu, 2 stand alone tracks, before you get into watching a guide. This way you'll get a bit more used to their faces and voices before you try to start putting names to those faces.

I love the Yoohyeon (clear)-Handong (rich) contrast, the first two singers here. It's the first time you heard Handong she wasn't in Scream or Boca eras. Scream was planned hiatus, there is a dancer in a black mask holding her place until she got back from a Chinese competition show she went on (with BP Lisa as a judge). When the virus happened she was prevented from coming back to Korea for a few months, missed the Boca m/v and performances too. They probably delayed Odd Eye a bit just to get Dongie back because it's not fully Dreamcatcher without what she uniquely adds.

Korean groups will release at least two 5 or 6 track EPs a year (sometimes three, or a single), but “full albums (10 tracks or more)” only every 18 months or so. There is a constant stream of music in Kpop, unlike the two or three year gaps between albums in the West. Dreamcatcher have a long discography having debuted in 2016, so there’s plenty for you to delve into. As well as Title tracks they also do Special Clip videos for b-sides, as well as cover songs, either as a group or solo or in sub units. Their KZbin channel has a wealth of content. If you want to check out some Scream era stuff, try the special clips for Red Sun, Sahara and the performance video for Black or White. As mentioned below there are “stand alone” tracks to get to before you start the “Nightmare Series” and there are Japanese singles too (Endless Night, No More, Eclipse & Breaking Out). I’d recommend BEcause and Deja Vu next. 😀

If you’re going to do an introduction to Dreamcatcher, I also recommend “Dodging Disbandment and Other Extreme Sports: A History of Dreamcatcher” by Mera. Dreamcatcher has a nuts story to how they’ve managed to stay afloat, and it’s well worth the watch. It does spoil all of the title tracks from debut up to right before Scream, so I guess beware of that, but it’s so interesting, and a 100% must watch for DC.

I would love to see a reaction to a Dreamcatcher guide. Specifically one that is focused on presenting the members. The Dreamcatcher-girls aren't just extremely talented and hardworking, they're also hilarious, likeable and goofy. Which also comes across in some of their uniquely self-made music videos like Sahara and Poison love, where the amount of seriousness shown is at 0%. Combined with them being from a smaller company where most of them experienced a failed group and a disband, before redebuting as Dreamcatcher, it makes you root extra for them. Who they are, and how they've struggled for adequate recognition every step of the way just feels unfair. They have grown slowly but steadily and are getting there, but they are still massively underrated compared to the big dogs in K-pop. Especially in Korea itself where they are largely unknown. Hopefully the next comeback will be yet another recordbreaker.
