Find it funny when he mentions some things that actually do relate to the game, like in his last wuwa reaction he mentioned death stranding and that game was in fact inspired by death stranding. While im not sure if PGR is fully inspired by matrix there is an ingame mechanic where if you perfect dodge, you enter matrix for a few seconds where the enemies are time stopped. want to say a few of the composers have different names from the fandom, what I've seen we have Haloweak(HaloPeak) and GhostFinal (GoatFinal)

As an avid PGR player since near launch, I'm glad to see you taking a peek at some of the best of gaming's OST. Vanguard is an absolute mastermind and seriously rivals other big players such as Falcom JDK & FF's OSTs, imo of course. Everyone's mentioning Hikari, and I couldn't recommend that enough either. That's up there with Narwhal as one of the most iconic pieces for the game. But my personal favs I'd recommend checking out, other than Hikari are the following (in no particular order): Polaris Bond, In My Memory, To The Limit, Evan's Gambit, Endless Path, and Adversity. There's just so many, it's tough to choose a favourite, tbqh.

Oh PGR's OST is fantastic, and Narwhal is absolutely its crowning jewel. I'm also pretty partial to "Moon" (particularly the Voice Actress version) and "LAMIA", as well as the character themes "Who I Used to Be" and "Resounding Storm". Additional context : this is the first Boss Fight theme on the beginning patch when the Game released. Rosetta (Centaur-like on the right). Afterwards she became playable Character which was also lore dropped and back story, and then when you hear it again it felt different. But when I saw your teary eyes, I'm just thinking that you already felt how deep down Rosetta been through.

Narwhal was the start of it all, and then Hikari came in, and then Lamia with it's theme being udnerwater, then Under Dimension with it's Electronic-kind if music, there's In My Memory(Theme Switch was godly), Endless Path with the use of Synthwave and Echoing Vocals, Lamia Another Mode(literally the theme of a Boss Character that's turned into a Playable Character) Another version of Hikari(there's 3 Hikaris in different style), and then Luna Oblivion's Theme emitting some aura.

So a bit of primer on PGR. It is a mobile game (there is a PC client too) made by Kuro Games, the same guys who made Wuthering Waves. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a virus called punishing got loose in a futuristic sci-fi world and turned every machine against humans. In the game you play "the commander" and control so called constructs (humans turned into machines through a special process that allows them to keep their personality in a mechanical body). For the song, Narwhal is related to Rosetta (the purple centaur girl on the right), she started out as a boss in one of the chapters but later on got added as a playable character. I do recommend trying out PGR. While it is a gatcha game it is often said to be one of if not the most free-to-play friendly gatcha games out there, with certain character just straight up given to players through a single 10-pull or for free by completing event objectives. The game also have an unreasonably good OST, mostly featuring electronic songs, but there are a few other genres in there like, pop, rock, hell even a 3 part opera condensed into 7 or so minutes called Sie Liebten Sich Beide (worth a listen).

I think Narwhal is a recurrent theme song that plays when the "main character" (or main ally) fights with the main antagonist ... Lucia vs Alpha ... I don't know the details, in pgr the story is presented like visual novels without dub, so it is a little bit hard to wants to follow the story, mainly because as always the start is bad and later on it hype it up ... the two girls are like androids (called constructs) and they are like based in the same person, so they are like two sides of the same coin, someone that fights the threat (the punishing virus) and one that joins the Ascendents and think that adapt to the punishing virus is some type of evolution

While Narwhal does play a few times, it is almost always tightly connected to Rosetta, not Lucia or Alpha. In fact, for all intents and purposes, this is Rosetta's theme. Also, Alpha is nowhere near the main antagonist. Even before we had knowledge of the larger picture, Luna was more of the main antagonist than Alpha since it's her group that's causing trouble. Alpha is just Lucia's rival.

A summary of what PGR is. Similiar to Nier Automata where machines got corrupt and try to kill humanity, except humans are still alive and the androids fighting the machine are human being turned into robots. Also, if you know Wuthering Waves made by Kuro Games, this is their previous work.
