if you take with your knight on c3 that means your rook on a1 will die and you now have a winning position and here's another fact.if white's BISHOP takes blacks bishop on b4 that mean black could either take rook on a1 or take bishop on b4 but since rook is 5 points of material and the bishop is 3 points of material so its very reasonable to take the rook...... bye now :)

yeah but on lower levels you'll get this exact sequence quite often. I generally know how to play against the Englund, dxe5 Nf3 Bf4 and Bd2 are all correct, but when they take the pawn you play Nc3, then after Bb4, you play Rb1. Here Qa3 is the only move, at which point you play Nd5, threatening the fork on c7 and the bishop on b4. If they retreat the bishop to a5 to defend, you can just play e4 and have a really nice position. In some positions, if Ne7 is played, you can even go Nf6, sacrificing the knight. If they take, you take back with your e5 pawn and if they don't defend correctly, you'll be able to bring your queen to h6 and g7 to delive mate

one of the rule of chess "never expect someone to do what you expected to happend" Well 1 year later this comment is kinda dumb because it doesn't really explain the point The point is instead of just focusing on low elo strategy You should instead study a better opening for the advantage I mean like yea sure it's a free win in low elo(sometimes) but how are you gonna improved with just that? Because not all people will go to the exact place like in the video I think I made a completely different point lol but I guess there's little bit of connection

Not not really once the knight take the Bishop, the Queen could simply take the rook, then checked. Now you could do 2 moves to block the queen. Firstly, u could just block with the knight but the knight gets eaten which will lead to a check then block with a queen. Or 2nd, u could simply block with the queen but the black queen eats the knight which then leads to a check aswell. Honestly both situation are bad and I would trade queen in that situation because I'm already gonna be winning in materials

You have to know this, here’s the moves it starts with, they don’t know they just see this. Slide the queen and bait it… they’re gonna take it (meaning the pawn) *chorus: blunder* big mistake, resign now, you can’t save it. Take the piece, check ‘em, if they offer the queen, let em. If you play d4 as white you will need to learn like 3 separate line variations to counter the Englund, or just give the center pawn and develop your minor pieces while his queen is in an awkward spot. You can just play the Englund as black yourself if you like tricks and don't care about getting better at the game.

@impishlyit9780

There are, but this sequence isn't too strong simply because Nc3 feels more natural to some people, and doesn't immediately blunder checkmate (to my knowledge, at least, never seen it covered and never had to play it). That is, moving the knight so the queen protects the rook.
@simo_viewer_pr9030
@simo_viewer_pr9030 Ай бұрын
The opening shown in this video is complete dog water. Apart from that specific move sequence, the Englund Gambit just loses a pawn and makes developing pieces a nightmare, even if you end up taking it back. This is probably one of his weakest videos, pure clickbait.
