@@brycepeddicord6763 He isn't being humble. A big problem Levy has is extreme self doubt. He undervalues himself all the time. I remember Hikaru chewing him out for it a few years back. Pinning hate comments is one of the many ways he encourages hate and reinforces his self doubt.

This video is awesome cause it really puts into perspective how much grandmasters know and then how much more the top level gms have to learn when they play classical chess. Like when you see them still in their preparation 15 moves in you know they did the same thing for so many other lines and its just insane how much they can remember.

If there's one thing online competitive games have taught is that it's all a numbers game. You only need above 50% winrate for progress, which still means you'll lose nearly half your games. Don't obsess over it, think about the things you did wrong and learn from it but move on.

I like how advanced our chess AI has become. We don't let them play their own choice of openings because they'll be boring and draw. So we force them into interesting positions and watch them play from there. Then we make people who are interested in fun chess stress out about learning super long opening sequences.

Love your work Gotham chess keep at it mate, I LOVED to see that you’re going for the GM and with a strong attitude too, I have all the faith my man. Loving your book and please come to Australia. I am not at the level to give you an advice but i enjoy playing taimanov. Taimanov is very good and solid. May be you can give it a shot and release a beautiful course on it like you always do. Looking forward to see your over the board play. No pressure. Just fuck em up. You are the beast. Having a slightly worse or even a slightly uncomfortable position is just pure agony in 90+30, especially against lower rated players. If you are just losing you can come to terms with your situation, but you do not know what will happen in a slightly worse position, there is still a chance to come back and win or draw (painful against lower rated players), but you can FEEL your optimism fading away as the clock ticks down. After a massive 90+30 tournament I'd do nothing for five days, which really isn't sustainable when you have work.
