Another question regarding the game, is where exactly have the Fantastic Four been. Some people may have noticed that the old Fisk Tower from the first game has been rebuild to now be the Baxter Building which is the headquarters of the Fantastic Four. I really hope they at least include Human Torch in a future game because his friendship with Peter is one of my favourites.

As a side note for the X-Men, I feel like they have to exist because Trask Industries (the people who made the sentinels) exists, it’s confirmed when Kraven was studying Scorpion’s armor and you can find the piece of paper in the mission you find out scorpion died.

In the game you can find a document in Kraven's lair that tells you about Scorpion's history. It says that Dr. Farley Stilwell (the scientist who created the Scorpion) went to Madripoor - which is an island in the comics where Wolverine spent a lot of time.

Maybe the reason he won’t have the anti venom suit in the third game is that he tries to bond the suit to Harry in the flame dlc, but fails, and ends up just destroying the suit

He will probably see carnage and be know he needs the suit to stop him and Peter will be hopeful in Norman to cure his son and then after carnage is defeated and the symbiote is destroyed Peter mixes anti venom into his suit to give us a unique skill tree in the third game. If peter dies in the third game I think they will find a way to remove anti venom from peter and give it to Harry making him anti agent venom and that would make way for a miles morales 3. But I think it would be better if peter doesn’t die in Spider-Man 3 and he instead joins a superhero team.

Thst doesnt make any sense for peter to do if he has the power he'll use it to help so destroying the suit doesn't make any sense for peter moral code now that he's in control flat out destroying the suit because it couldn't cure Harry is not something peter would now peter doesn't know wether the anti-venom suit is good or bad after all venom spent days won peter before it started influencing him

Didn't Dr. Connors say the Symbiote bonds at a sub-cellular level? So even Venom bonded beyond the white blood cell level that comic fans seem to indicate Anti-Venom bonds at. Meaning, if Peter could remove most of Venom, he could remove most of Anti-Venom... but he also already did so maybe that's why he's stuck with Anti-Venom. It's the last traces of the Symbiote.

To add onto the carnage anti venom theory. Carnage is kinda like the anti venom suit where it’s bonded deeper than regular symbiotes maybe Peter sacrifices anti venom which is similarly bonded to carnage to destroy carnage and destroys both at the same time

I wondered the same thing about the Mutants, it's strange since they are working on Wolverine. I understand if they don't mention or speak about the Avengers and Fantastic Four, but it's strange for the X-Men, or simply mutant kind in general. I was disappointed for Fisk, also not even mentioned, he was Peter worst enemy in his early years after all. I really hope Peter will have the role you speak about... I wanted him to team up with Daredevil. If he can be the one who deal with Carnage and the Green Goblin, it would be great.

Obviously the Avengers Tower is in this game again, but the Avengers are never mentioned. In the first game when you take a photo of it Peter says that the Avengers are always on the west coast. So that's the answer to "Why don't the Avengers do something about Venom and the symbiotes?" Also from Venom first appearing to him being defeated is only a couple of days, so if it had gone on longer the Avengers would have eventually showed up, but it's a Spider-Man game so we want Spidey to save the day. As for the FF, the Baxter Building is in the game - where Fisk Tower used to be. You can see the "4" painted on its roof, and a "BAXTER" sign on the ground in front of the building.

@@jhornacek Nah man, the Avengers where busy playing Baldur's Gate 3. More seriously, I noticed those details. The Avengers and the FF exists clearly in the game. Also Doctor Strange. And I'm glad that none of them helped, as you say it's a Spider-Man game and it should stay that way. Cameos, small encounters, small team ups, it's ok, but not full presence. It's just really surprising that mutantkind is not even mentioned when Insomniac is working on Wolverine who is set to be in the same universe. Maybe they exist but the general public don't know about them ?...

Another thing for Wilson Fisk, you can see that the building that was the gameplay trailer Fisk construction building is the new Fisk Tower. So Fisk is still 100% operating right now, possibly even working with the hand.

I don’t think there’s any reason for Peter to get rid of the anti-venom suit. Like he said, all the benefits of a regular Symbiote without any voices, weakness to sound, or external control. Just because he doesn’t use the Anti-Ock suit doesn’t mean he’d throw out the anti-venom suit, especially with all the benefits and how it’s bonded to his own cells. And I really hope they don’t get rid of it for the third game. This was a bold choice that further sets this Spider-man apart from others. Having him get rid of it would just be returning to the status quo, something Spider-man fans have had strong opinions about for years. Plus, with the alternate suits, complaining about the kind of suit he’d wear going forward means nothing (except for cutscenes with the suit being locked). If you don’t like the anti-venom suit, you can just swap to a different one. Maybe he’ll even shape-shift it into a different design. Plus, considering the anti-venom is literally a part of him, it’s still his own strength at play, but now evolved with the Symbiote. So it wouldn’t really be redundant or draw focus away from Peter’s own abilities. Because now these are part of his own powers

It didn’t exactly serve a purpose because he had the mechanical web-shooters, but it’s still a fun new ability and, in a way, has been what the fans have been wanting for years (wanting Peter to not reject the Symbiote when he learned it was an alien)

That would be true except rhino was just in a battle with an electric spiderman and the tinkerer, he also had overcharged engines thrown at him and he ran into many tanks before phin did it, he would be too damaged already to survive

But that would be enough that Aunt May would consider her "older". It's like in the 1960s comics when Peter started dating Betty Brant and readers wrote in saying "Wait, Peter is in high school, and he's dating Jonah's secretary? She's an adult!" And Stan almost immediately wrote into the comics that Betty was still a teenager, barely 1 year older than Peter, and that she had dropped out of high school to get a job to support her mother.

Pretty sure the Anti venom suit is only for Spider-Man 2 game to compensate for not having the black suit anymore so I don’t see it getting it off in any Spider-Man 2 DLC if there will be any however I don’t think we will have symbiotic tendrils as a playable mechanic for the third game so it will most likely just be cosmetic and I can see that it the actual anti venom suit will probably be extracted from Peter’s system in a tie in comic due to the fact he could probably help use it to help those who were infected with venom during the venom crisis

AntiVenom: So, because of the insomniac leak we know that Venom is returning. Because of the symbiote immediately being captured, and now “dying”. I think Peter is going to attempt to Remove the suit and in the process, revive venom. Or at least…a version of it. At the end of the city that never sleeps Sable goes back to Symkaria, and both Roxxon and the underground probably collapsed after their leaders died or went to jail, whatever happened to them they ain’t coming back tho

Without Phin, the underground were just common thugs. After Peter in the first game defeats the sinister 6 and all the escaped criminals, Norman has no reason to keep Sable. And Roxxon's leader was arrested, and the company was likely sued for almost blowing up Harlem.

I dont think they will get rid of the symbiote, if anything by the way they make miles abilties evolve and that peter needs to keep up with him, id say they either kill pete off in the third game or he manages to find a way to purify symbiotes and take their power. Giving us an anti carnage/anti venom fusion. It doesn't make sense that they get rid of petes now on cell level powers and keep miles. That would be NERFING HIM even more and being even more biased towards miles as miles seems to have no weakness like the comics. So they either find a way to give pete new powers, maybe he gets bitten by another spider and gains new abilitiles or they just keep anti venom and manage to have him purify other symbiotes. It just wouldn't make sense gameplay or story wise to make him even weaker as miles abilities evolve.

In the comics anti-venom doesn't need to bond with you to remove your illness just it touching you alone is enough to cure any disease as seen when anti-venom nearly took Spider-Man powers away in the comics or when it cured eddies cancer in the comics so peter most definitely could've cured Harry in the game with anit-venom he must've thought the suit only stops symbiotes I could be wrong maybe this version of anti-venom is significantly weaker than it is in the comics like all games an movies the hero is weaker than there comic book ounter part so maybe anti-venom only has one function to destroy symbiote or maybe peter didn't know anti-venom could cure illnesses and he though it's only function was combat and killing symbiotes but anti-venom being able to cure anything in the game would've been an interesting detail of maybe the venom symbiote still had a tad bit of left over influence over peter even though it's anti-venom now that it will forever exist inside Peter's mind slightly changing his judgment

In the first game when you take a photo of Avengers Tower Spidey says that they're always on the west coast. Besides, this is a Spider-Man game. Who wants other heroes to show up and save the day?

@@jhornacek Most people do. Spider-Man interacting with other superheroes is very fun since it's always uniqe. And game is called Marvel's Spider-Man. So other characters should appear. Hell even in the PS1 SPIDER-MAN game Punisher, Daredevil, Fantastic Four and Captain America showed up.

The game is called "Marvel's Spider-Man" because of branding, and to help differentiate it from other games called just "Spider-Man". Having that name does not mean other heroes should show up and join in the story. It's a *Spider-Man* game, not a Marvel superheroes game. The first game did it right - it mentioned all of these other heroes through casual references without having them appear. It's enough to know these heroes exist, but this is a Spider-Man game. What a disappointing game this would be if you got to the third act and the Avengers showed up and defeated Venom and stopped all the symbiotes while Spider-Man just watched that happen? People would riot.
