We explore some of Gothic 2 NOTR's secrets in chapter 1. In total there are 34 secrets I am showcasing in this episode, some might be well known others less so, but I want to put as many out there so people have as much knowledge of them as possible.

Gothic 2 Night of the Raven is an RPG made by Pyranha Bytes in 2003 in basically one year and a half after Gothic 1 which in gaming terms is a legendary timeline! Currently Pyranha Bytes is a subsidiary of THQ Nordic, who are working on a modern release of this classic game.
Gothic 2 NOTR is an upgraded hardcore version of Gothic 1 in all regards, we have new skills, new quests, new enemies, new places and dragons!

Once you kill the black troll and got the hide, you can talk to raul at onars farm and sell it to him, insult him afterwards and get the hide back to sell it further

When you talk to the bandit at the beginning, you can save him when you ask who wants to kill you. Always choose the middle dialogue option, until you get the chance to tell him, that you come from the mine colony. He will tell you more about dexter and where his hideout is

Correct! Also a great teaching moment on the part of the game that there are hidden solutions to dialogue depending on inventory load out.

Before you talk to daron, drop your gold and when he asks you to donate to the poor and needy, tell him that your are the poor and need, and he will give you some gold or xp, i dont quite remember

no xp, only gold. you get xp however if you donate certain amounts.

When you use iceblock on the seekers and lower their hp so they get killed b, the passive of the iceblock, you can loot their runes and stuff

When you have lehmars book, you can sell it to cavalorn, than buy it back, sell it after to thorben to buy it back and lastly sell it to hanna. You get all the rewards (cavalorns beer,1000xp, hannas key for the bandithideout)

After you got the extra xp from lares for bypassing the guards at the southgate, you can walk around the walls back to the gate an ask for entry to the city via herbcollector, after you talked to lester in the valley at the beginning. (Down the cave near the lake, he sits near a campfire)

You can warn the first bandit before you attack the hideout with cavalorn. That way he will reward you with extra xp and a little gold. In the later chapters he can join the mercenaries, if you give him some proper clothes

That never happened to me, but is it possible it's a broken script on the steam version or the gog one? Did that happen on an L'hiver playthrough of yours by any chance?

​@@Adrians_Storiesit happens at around chapter 3, he always stabds near the pathway down the road, but after the seeker show up, he wants more company. I played the regular version a dozen times, my pc was trash 😅😂 Dont know about the lhiver version tho

How do you enchans the grafics so much?

Most of it is due to the DirectX 11 mod, aka this github.com/kirides/GD3D11 I also recommend you install the system pack, player kit, latest patch and union plugin. All those things are bug fixes and minor balances.

I don't know, I wouldn't call that everyone. I was surprised to find out that Lobart gave you cheaper clothes when you sided for the peasants or that two plants actually spawn in after talking to Zuris. That seems pretty obscure info and I'm pretty sure not all new players will figure those out.

@@ILoveMUSIC37266 yes, its not that difficult. there should be several tutorials, which shouldnt take long. (i know only about german ones, but i think there should be at least some in english too)

Yep. There's actually a few tutorials on how to do that. Here's a decent one if you want a step by step list: kzbin.info/www/bejne/haCaiIGZaq9nqNE Also if you want a more hardcore experience, I highly recommend the L'hiver mod which is basically Gothic 2 Night of the Raven triple hardcore edition. It has more crafting options, can make special arrows, armors, different weapons, more cooking recipes, enemies have different attack animations (watch out for wolves, they are the worst!).
