We're back baby! Seems like Xardas had 2 weeks to build a tower and a fireplace...a freakin' fireplace instead of rescuing us. With friends like these... Oh yeah and seems we're only back because the ol' man is scared of dragons. Selfless guy right?
But there's a silver lining! We run into some old friends!

Gothic 2 Night of the Raven is an RPGmade by Pyranha Bytes in 2003 in basically one year and a half after Gothic 1 which in gaming terms is a legendary timeline! Currently Pyranha Bytes is a subsidiary of THQ Nordic, who are working on a modern release of this classic game.

Well the branch would hit/do more damage than a dagger :D that would be because being hit with a club is much more painful than being stabbed with a dagger which might be more lethal

Interestingly enough there's blunt and edge damage protection in G2 although most mobs tend to have equal resistances to both. Exceptions do exist like golems being more susceptible to blunt damage which makes sense. Hitting a rock with a sledgehammer is always better than hitting it with a sword. I am also contemplating doing a challenge run completing G2 using just a heavy branch. The math is possible on it, just slightly tedious in the beginning. The ultimate weapon of the dragon war... THE STICK.

When showing a second secret behind Xardas's tower, 20:05, 20:21 and 20:34 you can hear zombies, am I correct? Why?

Excellent hearing! You can hear zombies because Xardas's tower is positioned right next to the cave of undead near Orlan's Tavern "The Dead Harpy". Quite literally a few meters away from it. Which does bring a question to mind. Did those undead rise up because of Xardas's magical influence or were they simply cursed from a long time ago?

@@Adrians_Stories so my thinking was correct, I thought also because of the cave being there, it also has a graveyard in front of it, where zombies probably come from...also in that spot behind the tower looks like a cave was previously there but collapsed, maybe due to the tower being built there??

@@mickeyl91If we go intro free-cam mode, the collapsed cave leads into the cave of the undead there. Presumably it either collapsed over time or Xardas did some gardening.

Hi Vadim! This is basically a Gothic 2 NOTR vanilla playthrough. No gameplay mods are used...but I am using the system pack, player kit, gothic2_fix_2.6 (these three basically fixed some bugs and also allows for widescreen support) and the last mod I am using for graphics is the directx11 renderer mod which allows us to configure the graphics in way more detail than normally.
