Welcome back! You sound a bit rested, and I hope it is so. I'm looking forward to the commentary on Goth's future ability to be transgressive, particularly in how mainstream culture has co-opted some of our visual style. Though it does come with the benefit of style being more widely available. I dream of a time when society is even more inclusive than it is now, and the necessity for transgression as a means to prompt change is no longer so necessary... Though maybe we'll never see such a time, as progress can be never ending.

Art as a form of catharsis is super real. Sometimes it's hard to put into accurate language that gets to the point of what we're feeling. Emotions being nebulous in general, lend themselves to less concrete and precise forms such as language with its rules.

Thank you all for the video. I like all aspects of gothic architecture, artwork, literature also the entirety of the goth subculture. I absolutely love the sound playing at 35:49. Vintage Halloween decorations particularly a witch with glowing green eyes that really creeped me out as a kid but I've also heard ghosts with that sound as well. 💖Beautiful nostalgia💖
