9:27; I bet those trolls would have heart attack, if they knew some of their favourite classic shows had masters that were literally spliced together with scotch tape as back then you cannot scrub a through a timeline in adobe, you literally had to slowly in realtime! play 'n' stop then physically cut 'n' splice and once everyones happy with the result then transfer onto another reel. Btw, Same goes for film strips as well just spliced together with scotch.

Any idea about glued Betacam SP tapes? I warm it up, use a rewinder, rewind them from Hand, in jog modus. They are 60 Min tapes and havent move since 1995. The problem is that every video is a music clip and i destroy some clips because the tape break in the maschine, you see on some points they glued up. Maybe you have a solution?

Try hardcore clear packing tape. Carefully cut to size. Give it a whirl. Mcgiver it lol
