Knowing that you won't kill unless it's in defense and not bc you're hiding dark secrets. Batman doesn't fully trust the Justice League and I don't trust Dangonronpa. Motives are all Monokuma has to force their hands. Not playing the game doesn't stop him as a new "class" of "ultimates" is easy to replace. The ultimate that gets replaced is by defacto the new "ultimate". Despair is all they need. Know thy enemy or at least their motivations.

I don't know a thing about this game, but I think it would be very funny and fitting if there was some kind of secret counter that keeps track of how many times the player agrees or disagrees with an NPC and that it actually affected their relationships in a positive or negative way. It'd be great if Arin spamming the "You're wrong" button over and over just made everyone hate him and put the game on hard mode.
