Friendly Early Game Tip: CATCH A VIXY ASAP, and put it on your Ranch. It will dig free Pal Spheres and Arrows regularly, on top of small amounts of Gold Coins. If you upgrade it, it will eventually start digging up Mega Spheres too, allowing for some early-mid game capturing. It's a major resource-saver early on, and if you forget to take it out, you'll end up drowning in Pal Spheres and some Mega Spheres, which you can also conveniently sell once you're using high-rank Spheres. Seriously, go catch a Vixy.

Tip for beginners: ditch the pickaxe as soon as you get a Rushroar + craft a saddle for it. He always comes with the move ‘wild charge’ and if you use it while riding it will 2 shot any ore deposit besides iron (I have not tested on quartz yet). He’s best used in dungeons where large paldium, iron, sulfur and coal deposits can spawn next to each other allowing you to hit them all at once.

On top of this, rushoar can be used as a decent miner in your pal box. Go find an area where there’s lots of ore deposits and slap a spare pal box down and fill it with miners and they’ll automatically mine those ore deposits for you. Then have some transporters and you have automatic iron. (You will need some farms so you’ll need to get water and plant guys. Along with beds)

That early/mid game grind for ores stagnates the game quite a bit until you either get an effective resource collecting system, or you spend the time hitting the nodes yourself. I did an Alphalocke on Normal(only allowed to catch Alpha/Lucky Pals) and OMG it took nearly 3x longer to get to lvl55 than on even my regular Hard Mode playthrough.

15:49 so not sure if they will be playing palworld again, but if they're having issues finding each other on the map, Jaiden (or jacob but only 1 needs to do it) can hold H on him in the beginning of their next session to join a "guild" its basically joining a party but that way they can share base teleports, or in this case, see each other on the map. i love how palworld like unironically just has some really nice quality of life features and is genuinely just an enjoyable game. I so glad that they moved away from the animal abuse idea and instead focused on just making a more adult oriented pokemon/ark survival game. I also really enjoy that the wild pals are ACTUALLY scary, because they CAN kill you

You can still choose to be pretty abusive by forcing them to overwork and butchering any that aren't up to your standards, or feeding them to the machine that lets you power up specifics pals. You can also choose to be nice to them, which doesn't stop you from being able to do everything you want in the game, it might just be a little slower. It's really up to you.

Pals like Daedream that have special effects like "attacks with you," only work on a per hit basis. Like, the Daedream will let you die if you're out in the open healing someone. They will only attack when you attack (if their cooldown on attacks is recharged). Long story short... get a ranged weapon. Unfortunately, this applies to things like Lifemunk too. Yeah, he's on your shoulder with an SMG, but he absolutely will not fire it unless you are also spamming the attack button. He'll just wait out the clock and waste the ability.

Also, there was a glitch (that the devs Accidentally patched out) where you could Capture the 4 Pal Champions, and yes, they get to Keep the health they had in the battle, and upgrading them caused them to end up with several hundreds of Thousands of health, making them basically Immortal.
