Jason Griffith (The voice of Sonic) had a rocky start in this show. This was his debut in voicing the character and he hadn’t quite gotten used to his role yet. Towards the end of Sonic X, he started to find out what his version of Sonic would be and he slowly fit in to his role of the character. He stopped voicing Sonic in 2009 and was replaced by Roger Craig Smith. (The Current voice of Sonic.)

oh, Sonic X! now theres a blast from the past. gotta love the nostalgia. I love the theme song so much Sally Acorn was the main female character of Sonic Satam and the sonic the Hedgehog comics. she hasn't shown up in video games as far as I know Knuckles line about chaos control is actually a bit of a mistranslation. Chaos control usually refers to the power of using the chaos emeralds

A quick information about the S Team chase: because this is an anime, their vehicles are adjusted in the metric system (while the other cars maximum is around 300 km/h, the leader's at 500 km/h). Converting the numbers, and we have 186 mph for the grunts, and 310 mph for the leader. If you watch this episode again in the Japanese dub, you will see that some dialogues are very different. I'm looking forward to watch with you the rest of the series.

The voice acting gets better, but I really support switching to the Japanese version. The intro is so much more badass and hey, no 4kids killing the plot once again. By the way, I suggest you react to the anime “Gangsta” its really, really good.

Honestly, I would stick with the dub if I were you. This show has some really great performances in there. Knuckles, Amy, and Eggman probably being the best of the main cast. I'd say it's worth it to watch the dub. The cast really owns their roles down the line. More Sonic to you though. I hope you check out the other Sonic cartoons later on. Namely the Sonic OVA and Sonic SatAM.

I actually like Sonic’s voice in this episode more than everything that came after. It was clearly Jason Griffith but had a vibe similar to Ryan Drummond but also DiC Sonic by Jaleel White. Which is coincidence but it fit so well. It didn’t have any of his stale general speech mannerisms yet that everyone hated until the post 2009 fanbase emerged and liked the performance of his last 2 games and decided it represented his whole run as Sonic.

And 2:what made that racer guy see Sonic, A weird animal he has never seen before, and decide to step out of his car and chat? I'm really happy to see you doing more Sonic related content on your channel and hope you continue. But, if you see any comments about the Japanese version of Sonic X being all around better then the English version that's, not fully true. There is really no difference in quality, there is just a huge difference in the amount of content each version has, basically the only tv network to show the English version of Sonic X SUPER HEAVILY cut content that it found to "dangerous" for young kids minds to handle (aka. fights scenes, language, certain jokes etc.). So the full experience (with no change quality) comes from the Japanese version.
