Might be one of the best game performances as a Ranger ever. They were 13 minutes away from "welp season ends on Saturday" and now they are asking for their next competitor. Definitely onpar with Messier's Game 6 hat trick in terms of stakes

@@kaz7690 I forget the exact statistic, but they were saying Messier is like the only other Ranger, possibly player, to have completed a 3rd period hat trick in a playoff game. I’m sure I got that wrong, but Messier did it in 94 is my main point.

@@VioletDeliriums Have you noticed that he stopped "running goalies" when the NHL changed the tripping rule that even if you get a piece of the puck first it is still tripping?. It stopped defensemen from last ditch effort dives that leads to trips, and magically he hasn't been talked about running goalies since then. Seems like too much of a coincidence.

On Kreider's first one: the Rangers, while watching Hurricanes film, noticed that their goalie, Anderson, frequently left a small space while covering the left post when moving from right to left. And on that goal you can see Zibanejad deliberately flick the puck right at his skate, and the puck wedging itself into that space, with Kreider knowing it was there to be slammed home. And it worked. Throughout this series when you see closeups of Anderson moving from his right to the left post the blade of his left skate is ON the base of the post BUT his ankle is canted inward, leaving that space.

I live in NC for 23 years, from Brooklyn, life long Rangers fan but I can tell you they are fake ass fans. They only care when the team is doing good, when they are not, they disappear. I been to Rangers Canes games and we outnumber them.

Yeah, as I'm sure has already been said, but I'll say it anyways, no need to zoom in on him / like a double-whammy for the kid, just the second one is now on KZbin for him to have to have to deal with, most likely for a long time (school / bullying?). Poor taste in my book. Sportsnet/NHL/The Powers That Be, edit the kid out if you can, please.

Not a Rangers fan...but gotta love that performance...Kreider took charge of the game for a huge win. I have to say these Rangers might be in the final.

Kreider from giving the Canes a powerplay goal to scoring a Hat Trick in the 3rd, that's how you redeem yourself!

Teams don’t have an answer to Kreider. He’s big, fast and extremely strong in front of the net. The only one who could stop him is on his team, Trouba.
